No quibble, amazing

I expected to have to wrangle about my claim but I did take out FULL COVERAGE which I recommend for any car hire abroad. Discover responded the same day, although the Bank Holiday and settled full amount in 2 days. I am amazed that the company made it so easy and very relieved as I had already paid over £1,000 to local company. Thanks so much, I have no hesitation in using Discover again. One tip, always get full cover and locally take out body AND undercarriage insurance.

Discover cars take no ownership

We rented a car through discover cars while in Dubai. We booked a 7 seater car only to arrive at the airport to a 5 seater car. We were told we could drive it to the hotel and it would be exchanged that day. No one arrived, second day we were told someone would arrive to exchange the car no one arrived, third day someone exchanged the car at 4pm missing out on 3 of 4 days rental. Upon returning car to the pick up drop off at airport the car company never arrived. No contact no response we had to leave it with customer services at the airport. We still haven’t received our deposit. Discover cars just advised us to contact Dubai car company as they advised they do not get involved in the matter. So I would be wary if you have any problems with hire as they do not help at all even when booked through them.

Hidden costs for insurance

Car rental was low cost but mandatory insurance was triple the cost of the car rental and we didn’t find out about it until we came to pick up the car.

There's always a good reason...

There's always a good reason to increase the rate offered by the Discover cars.com platform. When you refuse to rent the car under the new terms, the platform keeps the deposit made at the time of booking... Tip: opt for larger agencies, which may seem more expensive at first, but when all is said and done, they save you time and hassle that you would have preferred to avoid on vacation.

Wrong type of fuel in car rental

I recently rented a car at Faro Airport and unfortunately made the mistake of putting the wrong type of fuel in the tank. As a result, the car stalled and had to be towed back to the rental company. To my surprise, they charged me the full €2000 deposit to replace the vehicle. Thankfully, I had booked the rental through DiscoverCars.com. I submitted a claim to them, and I was incredibly impressed with how they handled the entire process. They kept me informed at every step of their investigation and, in the end, reimbursed me the full €2000. I want to express my complete gratitude and appreciation to the DiscoverCars.com team. Good services

All the information we received from Discovery Cars was correct and it worked all well. Because of this the picking up of the car was easy and the rental company - WayGo in Lissabon - was very friendly and accurate. Also when we returned the car, it all went very quick. We had a little damage which we paid in advance, but once back home we filled in the forms and within a day we got the message that our claim was honored and that we will get back the money. Therefor, we are a happy client.

Security Deposit never returned

I have rented a car from agency called NOKTA using DiscoverCars in Istanbul, I have returned the car in 9th Mar and till now they have not returned my security deposit. I have paid 800 Euros and they did not retuned it! I kept sending emails to DiscoverCars but did not get enough support

Has anyone found someone in customer support that is able to assist with an existing case? I am having an issue filing a claim and it appears no one at Discover cars is available to engage or escalate at this point. We had a not so great experience with the rental car vendor (America Cars in Mexico) and they will not release the final invoice for the damage of a popped tire. They do not deny that the damage occurred, or that we were covered by Discover Cars, and I do have the receipt and bank account statement. They just are not providing the final invoice. They are claiming that this is our own fault for booking with Discover Cars as opposed to purchasing insurance directly from them. Discover Cars will not refund without the final invoice. Has anyone encountered this before? Any tips to resolve? Seems odd that Discover Cars would partner with a vendor that will not cooperate in getting them what they need to provide a customer what they paid for (insurance that covers a flat).

Hi! I have not credit card, only debit card! If they do not accept it, I cancel the reservation. I read they don't give money back but give credit points. This is true? What can I do?

You may have to accept credit points for another journey if you cancel. You always have to use a credit card when it comes to rental

Sometimes the price differential relates to whether the car can be picked up and dropped off rom the airport or not. Discovery do provide this from one of the car parks at Faro which to me is worth paying a bit extra over those that drive you off to some pick up point in Faro.

Second driver prices differs from region and car rental agency, when selecting desired location and period of travel, you are able to see the prices under each car "Rate & Car details".

I have never heard of this company. The prices seem to good. Has anyone used them in Orlando? How did you get to the their offices? They are around 6 miles from the airport. Any feed back will be appreciated.
