Discover Cars' complete lack of customer support means that if there is any kind of issue with the booking, their customer looses the booking and all the money. There is NO PHONE LINE to contact DC on and they don't reply to urgent emails for days, so if you're on holiday, you end up stranded at the airport with no car, no refund, taxi expenses and a whole pile of stress. All I needed to do was have a different named driver to the person who made the booking, which wasn't an option on the booking form, because my driving licence was due to expire during the holiday and I hadn't recieved my replacement before leaving. Normally you give driver details when you collect a rental car.

The car rental company in Portugal - Turisprime - couldn't change anything on the booking (apart from selling us extras!), wouldn't let us take the car with me as the main driver and warned us about DC's phone line and lack of help. They shouldn't sell to Discover Cars if they know the service is awful! They were keen to let me know that if I'd booked direct with them there would be no problem, but that it would have cost a lot more. Sort it out Turisprime! Make direct bookings reasonably priced and people will come to you direct and get a sensible service!!

I pleaded with DC to change the name on the booking a few days in so we could get the car and also suggested various solutions like simply making a new booking for less days - they already had my money, including the stupid insurance (which other reviewers have found to be useless)! They refused to do anything to help. DC completely fail to provide reasonable (or any) support for a service their customers are paying them £100s for. I feel I and other customers should be compensated for that and the associated stress and additional expense, regardless of Ts&Cs. I also feel their Ts&Cs are unreasonable. That combined with lack of support means that any customer with any kind of issue (likely given the ridiculous Ts&Cs) simply loses their money, incurs further expense and has a very stressful holiday.

Finally, when you finally get a response from DC it is infuriating! - A smiling refusal to help, accept their failures or give any kind of refund or further support, with a "don't hestiate to get in touch if you have any fruther questions" at the end - as if you'd get a satisfactory response if you had further questions!
