Do NOT use CarJet!

I booked a car in the UK via the CarJet website. I decided to pay for the extra insurance online to them as peace of mind when collecting the vehicle knowing all would be covered (well, that's what was written online) before collecting the vehicle. When I wen't to the car hire company in order to collect the car they required me to pay for this insurance (again) as what I paid for was completed invalid and the car hire firm requested I provide extra paperwork not mentioned or provided in the CarJet voucher, including printed utility bill & bank statement. Also a £1,500 deposit was requested as well.

To cut a long story short the car hire company refused to rent me a car even though I had paid CarJet in full for the hire of the vehicle. So I was stranded at the car hire location & was told to go back to my broker (CarJet) in order to get a refund.

I telephoned CarJet in Spain & was told in no uncertain manner that there would be NO REFUND!.

They pay for search engine ads in order to get to the top of the search rankings but please DO NOT use this company. They do NOT publish their phone number online
