We recently rented a car from Avis at Tenerife, Spain (TRS). We have no complaint about the car we rented but unfortunately we can not say the same about one of the Avis staff which handled the car rental agreement and the payments. The person in question became really aggressive and impolite when we did not want to take additional insurances on the car. We explained to that person politely that we had additional car insurances covered fully with our credit card company and that we did not need any additional insurances. The person in question showed really an arrogant attitude towards us and started arguing with us about what we should do and what would happen if we did not follow her instructions. We will definitely avoid renting a car from Avis in the future simply because of this experience. Customer service is of great importance and Avis staff at Tenerife Spain (TRS) simply failed in that respect in our case.
