Argus Car Hire has a rental company called MasterKings, at least according to the Check24 Paperwork. So I am reviewing this against both company names. I was charged 30€ for an early return, even though the return took place at 08:01, I was the first in line. As I waited from 07:45 to return the car, I was asked several times by guys at the kiosk why I was waiting and I stated to save the 30€. They were kind of angry, but at 08:01 the MasterKings rep was finally at his desk and took me as the first customer. Masterkings replied to my claim stating I returned early and that I was informed of the 30€ charge, which I was not. On the return paperwork there was no mention of this either. They refuse to return me the 30€. Really terrible.
