I have rented from this company twice - the first time was without a problem but that was because I did not add insurance when I purchased online. DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE WHEN RENTING ONLINE - wait until you go to the car rental kiosk - the insurance offered here is not the same as what is offered at the rental car counter. We ended up paying double - one charge through Enterprise and another charge through Airport Rental Cars. Granted, this is a lesson learned in reading the small print, but as a business owner myself, I would be ashamed of making money this way. It is deceptive and meant to confuse the consumer. In this day and age of online, competing deals, I often think it is just best to book with the original company instead of using third parties such as this. I feel totally taken advantage of.

"Terrible company!!! They made me purchase colllision insurance for $77 upon making my reservation. Once I got to my destination to pick up my car, Dollar wanted to charge me an extra $9.99 per day for an extra driver. So, I didn't rent the car and went with another company. Even though I never rented the car, airportrentalcars.com wouldn't refund the insurance. So, I had to pay for insurance that I couldn't use."

Was quoted different price than charged, I complained and it went to deaf ears, these guys didn't care what I was quoted and charged.

It was not until I had made my resrvation that I noted the location of the place of car pick up/ drop off was not reight at airport. Maybe you should make that clear (big, bolded letter e.g.) at the very start or top of your display rather than just launching into the car sizes and companies providing the cars. I sent a note to your company indicating I'd like to change my reservation to an on site (SFO) rental company, but to moment ther has been no reply. Thanks. , R W Gatehouse

The shortest process for renting a car I've ever used.Plenty of car options at a great price.For people in a hurry this is the fastest thing going that has any thing to do with airport travel.

trying to cancel and your site will not accept my confirmation number from the email you sent me..the link to cancel says it is not a safe site. all in all itnis a pain in the neck

I tried for 2 days to reserve a car at the acy airport and 3 different size cars were not available for size or price. I emailed Budget with my concern and when I tried today after saying I would have to use a different vendor, I was able to get the car and price. I have rented with Budget in the past as it is reasonable and convenient and happy to be able to rent again. Thank you

The document you sent cut off on the sides when I printed it. The clickable document itinerary has a box at the bottom which did not print past the visible part because the scroll button had to be moved. I printed this for my husband and think you designed this badly.

I am going to cancel my reservation through Airport Rental Cars because I would rather go straight to the Dollar Rent A car's website to do my booking. I was unable to add collision to my rental with no reason given (tried twice). Called support and they said I had to do this online...which didn't work. I wanted to change my pickup time but this seemed like a lot of extra trouble as I had to go through the steps again to secure my booking. I didn't receive a confirmation email that the change had been made so I wasn't sure if I booked the reservation twice. Airport Rental Cards was unable to confirm a special request to have a GPS system. Why go through the hassle when you can book straight on the rental car's site.

From the website to the airport, I found this service a breeze to use. The site was easy and informative, with a great selection of cars. My time at the airport was just as convenient: no wait, and I was on my way fast. I highly recommend this site.

My experience with Advantage in Oakland was wonderful. The cost was one half any other rental company and the service was fast and helpful. I was given an upgraded car with a great stereo system which I enjoyed all week. They even helped me add on an extra day without having to be charged for a full weekly rate. I was completely satisfied with the whole experience.
