I recently bought a Jaguar X-type from Transautotrading in Ruislip. I'd seen a number of cars at various garages around London, but preferred to deal with Transautotrading. They MOT'd and serviced the car before selling it. I had the car independently checked by a reputable mechanic. He said the car was a good buy at the price. However, he pointed out a couple of problems which Transautotrading weren't aware of, but they sorted everything out. The car is still within its 3 month warranty, and I'm confident if there are any problems Transautotrading will do their best - unlike many other used car garages. I'd recommend Transautotrading for their range of good quality cars at reasonable prices.
