I regard this insurance operator worthy of recommendation. Why? because they appear to care, are interested in ensuring I have the right cover for me and my van; and after three consecutive years the renewal compares well with competitors, providing me with the confidence I'm dealing with a honest and considerate insurance provider.

Ferries from Tangier Med suspended due to bad weather, our green card was due to expire. Comfort arranged a further week's cover at no charge. Have had other small incidents in the past and they have always responded rapidly and effectively. No waiting on hold for phone calls and always friendly and helpful.

We have insured our motorcaravan in the past with Comfort but not this year, they were just pipped on renewal cost by a competitor. We will certainly give them the opportunity to quote next time. No problem with service and professional courtesy.

I have tried many insurers over the years for different camper vans and have always shopped around. I find Comfort Insurance very straight forward and helpful to deal with. I have used them now for several years, and have always found them pleasant knowledgeable and good value for money. I have also used them for overseas breakdown cover. Many insurers make it difficult to insure non standard conversions but Comfort are clearly used to dealing with a wide range of vehicles.I would recommend them without hesitation.

Good value for money

Prices are very competitive, we had some ridiculously high quotes for exactly the same cover. Sales staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble even when the system crashed when setting up the policy. Would certainly recommend to other motorhome owners.

We have not found a better quote ever and we will continue to insure with Comfort for the foreseeable future.

My experience with using Comfort Motorhome Insurance is that it is an efficient company. All the staff are pleasant, competent and efficient. The policy is underwritten by a blue chip insurer, which gives peace of mind.. I have been with Comfort for over ten years now and have never had cause for a grumble. They do not appear to be “box tickers” Great if you have real questions to ask.

Have been very happy with Comfort Insurance. The company is easy to deal with, very efficient, particularly when dealing with a problem and best value for money we have been able to find. Comfort have an excellent understanding of the Motorhome business and provide a perfectly taylored service.

We damaged our motorhome unknowingly whilst abroad. On our return we contacted Comfort and explained. The friendly voice reassured us and advised what we had to do. We contacted a local repair centre the paperwork went through efficiently on both sides and our motorhome was repaired to Aa very high standard. Comfort took out the anxiety that we had been feeling since the damage was done.

Answer phone promptly and always efficient and always friendly. When I first insured with them, I always spoke to the same person which was nice. Always nicer to deal with a smaller company than with a huge organisation.

I've used Comfort since I started motorhoming some 20 years ago. I've looked at alternatives occasionally, but none offered better flexibility and value. I get reminders in good time and the conditions are clear. I like the fact that I can tailor the cover to suit my circumstances, so I don't have to pay for something I don't want or need. I've never had to make a claim, for which I'm grateful, but I'm confident that I would get the same prompt and helpful service that I get when renewing my policy. So no reasons not to award 5 stars.
