traveled with Caledonian to Glasgow and Moffat on overnight stay. our bus driver was brilliant and very informative about the history of Glasgow. The Admonton Country House was comfortable, very clean and welcoming. The only downside to the weekend was the breakfast with 3 coach loads of people it should have had staggered breakfast times for each coach. It was very disorganised and resulted in massive queues for cooked breakfast. I have back problems and could not have stood in the queue and opted for cereal, the replenishment of bread for toast was not there leaving people standing around waiting. Overall brilliant but hotel needs to sort out breakfast times.

Just returned from Tina live tribute with Caledonian travel, first of all can't fault the coach, the driver great guy! Tina live was fab great night, the hotel, where do I start! The norbec castle is not clean! Didn't see one cleaner from arrival to departure, hand sanitiser at restaurant was empty! Beer bottle on staircase from night before hadn't been moved, glass on revolving doors at entrance was filthy,I do appreciate this is and old hotel but please, get the cleaners to clean this place! On a positive note the staff were friendly, we had no towels in room and reception sent a friendly man immediately with towels, evening meal was standard, breakfast was better. I understand this is a package holiday, well priced but please, Caledonian travel change the accommodation with your trips as I would love to return, but wasn't told where I was staying until 3 days beforehand. The norbec is advertised as in Blackpool, but its actually in Fleetwood, so taxi into town was ten pounds.hoping to return with Caledonian travel, but never to the norbec castle!

Great good value holiday`s and breaks. The only quibble we have is that the 99p bar offer at some hotels should be explained properly in the over view of each particular hotel that has the offer. We have recently been to the Riviera Hotel Torquay the 99p bar was limited and it was 99p for half a beer not a pint has most people would assume. The mixers were also chargeable with the 99p spirit offer again people assume these are part of the drink.

Two weeks with Caledonian travel...Bournemouth at the royal bath...had a beautiful stay at this hotel ...massive room with sea view. We did a five day tour....got a two day stay at the Carlton...booked by Caledonian travel..joined the next seven day Bournemouth tour but stayed back at the bath....and lovely agent at Caledonian travel got our same beautiful room back for us.at the royal bath hotel...thankyou to her.... This hotel is central to everywhere....beautiful gardens...beautiful views....breakfast and dinner every day...food was lovely with good choices...think I’ve put on about a stone... Our driver took us to absolutely beautiful places...thank you to him...you were brilliant..even the wee stop off at Gretna...just finished the holiday on the way home...lol...didn’t know there were places in this country that was so beautiful...loved Bournemouth...will defo go back... Stayed in Carlton house for the two nights...it was fine...food was nice...drinks a great price...very busy hotel...nothing much around it....but..I suppose we compared it to ..the royal bath ...which we loved...the lady in the bar..made the best cappuccino and latte I’ve ever had...thank you Caledonian travel....till next time...xxx

Just returned from a 2 day trip to St Andrews and the Cairngorms and it was excellent. Our driver was friendly, helpful and very informative. The overnight stay at the Britannia Hotel in Aberdeen, despite poor reviews on trip adviser, was very good. The food was well cooked, well presented and plentiful. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend break. Fantastic value for money.

Have just returned from the Christmas four countries break, hotel ibis Luxembourg sud was excellent apart from the take it or leave it menu,if you didn't like what was served you didn't eat!! No alternative was offered despite there being a menu for other guests.first time I've been really disappointed with the food, maybe caledonian don't pay enough for guests to have a choice of menu and you get what the kitchen has, don't know would think twice before going to that hotel again. Holiday overall was really good and our driver viv was nice and knowledgeable about the excursions we were on,having plenty of time to explore the area.

Just back from Oban and have to say that the level of service and hotel food was very good. The room was clean and beds comfortable - decor could be doing with a bit of a freshening up but overall the trip represented great value for money. Would recommend this trip.

Lovely hotel with modern decor. Freshly cooked breakfasts,3 course evening meal plus tea or coffee all well presented and efficiently. Cross the road and you enter the beach, gorgeous. Lovely resort with all one needs and Blackpool a bus ride away if you want it. Go for this one if you want a clean pleasant hotel. Cafes on pier worth a visit. Only suggestion is perhaps people are tired of bingo and highest card games. The pensioners are not as old fashioned as you might think.

We done the Oban,Mull,Iona trip from 29/6/16 to 1/6/16. We stayed at the Regent Hotel Oban which was clean and the staff friendly and efficient. The hotel itself was of Art Deco style and could have done with updating but the fantastic sea view from our bedroom window more than made up for this. The food was good and the service very quick. Breakfast, and a three course dinner were included in the price plus a trip to Mull, Iona and Seil. Our bus driver was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. Overall this trip was amazing value for money and the scenery beautiful! My only negative comment would be that we did not have time to explore Iona due to the short time scale. Once we took the ferry over (10 mins) we had around 30 mins on Iona before we had to return to Mull to catch the coach back! I hope that Caledonia Travel will take note and review this one issue. Otherwise I was very happy with my experience and will definitely be booking future trips.

Just back from berlin trip. The most relaxing coach trip we have been on. The hotels we stayed at were great. The food on the whole was good although in Dresden there was only one choice take it or leave it.At colditz castle access was extremely difficult for wheelchairs and disabled people. This was not pointed out when booking although disabled rooms were requested. Our driver was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our first overnight stop was Hotel Hanover[not in Hanover]We received a great welcome and the food was hot and tasty. The berlin hotel Abacus was terrific and the rooms were superb. We had a good choice of food so this was probably why we were disappointed in Dresden. Overall a fantastic holiday.Had to phone Caledonian a few days before to find out the overnight hotels

Friday to sunday at glenburn hotel rothesay. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel because I know it is years old. however - it was very clean, food excellent, staff really nice, room was fine, down-side - 99 steps from pavement to front door of hotel or option to use a short but very steep hill at the side to get to back door. a taxi ride from central rothesay right to back door was only £3odds. walk to central rothesay is about 10 mins (in our case - in the rain)trip included a bus trip round the island and visit to mount stuart house - well worth the visit. I was very impressed with this place. beautiful gardens too (if the rain had stayed off). entertainment at the hotel was great. dancing to a duo (singer and singer/instrument) also we had an excellent "elvis" impersonator. I could not fault the hotel. rothesay does not have much to do although I am sure if it had been better weather it would have been much better to walk around. - though we found a "sing along to grease the movie" event which we went to. I had a nostalgic couple of days - having spent holidays in rothesay as a child. our bus driver was obliging and really nice. our first tour with Caledonian tours was a year ago when Canadian relatives came over and wanted to visit Iona - we enjoyed the trip so much we then went to southport in September and this recent trip. picked up locally - I think it is amazing value for money. the weather let us down on this trip - but we can do nothing about that sadly.

20-24th July, excellent travelling, the driver was very good and the journey was pleasant. Value for money and some. The hotel was also good, with nice food and plenty of it. Some rooms do not have windows which might be an issue for some, note the hotel is being refurbished and some rooms are poor compared to others. There are lots of seagulls on the walls of this hotel, I was only pooped on twice. A great location for everyone including disabled as there is a vehicular rail to take you to the seafront. Evening entertainment is good.

Great trip to Liverpool staying at the Adelphi hotel. The Adelphi is really in need of some TLC in lot of areas to bring it up to the standards it once was but it was functional, clean and fine for what we needed it for and with leisure suite. Which had sauna, steam room, swimming pool and gym. We only used this one and facilities where good. We had the hotel on half board basis and the food was fine although limited in the choice, roast potatoes every single night with no alternative to be had. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choices but very crowded and at times reminded me of school canteen with lots of queues also we where put on 8pm sitting far to late but they did change it for us on request. Staff very friendly. There is some entertainment in hotel and we found it good but this is personal preference. The coach tour itself was fantastic with a very good bus tour of Liverpool, day trip to chester and also South port although we didn't go to south port opting spend the day in Liverpool. Chester was wonderful though and we would highly recommend. Coach driver was very good, friendly and helpful at all times. Met some really nice fellow passengers on the trip. We really enjoyed our trip.

Just spent new year in London and had a wonderful time. Partly due to our fantastic driver whose knowledge was incredible, as was his driving skills. This was our first coach tour but certainly won't be our last. Thank you caledonian travel and thank you Walter.
