After seeking the advice of several builder, I asked a local plasterer to give me an assessment of some damp patches in my hallway. The plasterer recommended I should telephone a company which, subsequently led to Timberwise. An appointment was arranged for a surveyor to visit. He arrived, took time and care in his assessment and advised what should be done to alleviate the damp problem. A written assessment arrived and I contacted Timberwise to arrange the work. A date was set some weeks ahead, however I did receive an offer to bring the work forward as a slot had become available, but I stuck to the original date.

On the first day of work, a very affable man arrived, bang on time and worked diligently throughout the day, with minimal disruption. He returned the second day, finished the work to an exceptionally high standard, cleaned the area he'd been working in (leaving the wooden floor cleaner than when he'd arrived!).

The personnel I encountered, either in person or on the phone, were all friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I'm in the midst of having some other building work done at present and my experience with those builders is the complete antithesis. I'd recommend Timberwise to anyone.
