Having searched for flights London/Orlando/London, two specific website offers caught my eye - Globehunters and traveloworld...reason? Well, for a start, the two companies share the same address and post code. Both were offering flight fares on specific dates, with major airlines (Virgin Atlantic and British Airways) at much lower than published fares. Slightly suspicious, I did venture to send identical e-mails to both companies, requesting that they please confirm by e-mail, those specific flights, availability and fares. Not having a response from either, I sent 'follow-up' e-mails (copying the original) asking for a reply. None was forthcoming, so perhaps my earlier suspicions had some merit? Ok, I though, give them the benefit of the doubt and telephone the numbers given and speak person to person. The result? Hmm, very interesting indeed. It went like this:- "Yes, what can I do for you?' was the opening gambit...but in a language and dialect I struggled to understand. "Yes, my name is *******and I have been trying to obtain replies to my e-mails." "I can answer questions, what is it you want?" "For the content and questions contained in my e-mails to be answered, please." "This is not e-mail department." "Okay, will you connect me to it, then?" "No you must speak with me because I know nothing about e-mails." I did what any conscious citizen would do...put down the phone! Now, I have read the many reviews about both these companies, some obviously dubious when praise is heaped -and by far the majority which are scathing. What's the phrase...Caveat Emptor?

Pam's customer focus was second to none. She rang a number of times to ensure she found the correct flights to facilitate my requirements. Due to her great service, I will definitiely use Travel World again in the future.

Jacob was extremely polite and patient as the telephone connection was not great and i am no good with the phonetic alphabet, he took time to check all details with me,explain the details of the flights and was able to give us the best price i was able to get after 2 days searching the web

I have been well served and attended by Jacob on booking my flight. I'm happy with the flights itinerary and price. Even if my flexibility on the returned dates were earliest to the 15th April. Maybe My budget did not allowed it. My questions on visa at Doha, luggage allowance information and terms and conditions on passports has been answered promptly and I have no worries now. I'm pleased with the service given and care and now starting to enjoy my travel. Thank you

We made a booking with Jacob, he was very helpful at all times. We were offered excellent prices on a flight to Bangkok, and would certainly use this company again. He kept me informed at all times throughout the booking, we were never left on the end of the phone, either listening to boring music or a silent line. We would certainly recommend them to others.

A young man named Mac helped me with my flight booking. He was most polite, helpful and very patient, giving me the time I needed to consider journey times, connections etc, and answering all my questions. I needed to get back in touch him with a query about my e-ticket, and he promised he'd look into it and phone me back within 15 minutes. He was as good as his word. So thanks very much, Mac. You made a potentially stressful experience as smooth as possible.

Found cheap flights on their website and then phoned up as instructed. Told by an increasingly angry man that the price i had found, for specific dates to Australia, wasn't available - and was in fact another £150 more. When I challenged him and asked why the website said a price that wasn't available, he hung up on me! Awful, awful, awful. Please don't use this company.

I found traveloworld particularly Jacob very helpful in finding the perfect itinerary for my flight to sydney.Jacob found times to suit with not to long to wait at stops. I would definately recomend traveloworld and use them again. Thank you. J thorner

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We are in the process of trying to cancel flights to Chicago with them, only to be told they are non refundable. After telling them we were never advised they aren't refundable, they said we must be first time travelers and that everyone knows that if travelling to the US, to get cheap flights of course they are non refundable. When i said that this was neither here nor there they put the phone down on me. PLEASE BOOK ELSEWHERE. They are causing us so much stress. Rude and incompetent. Just wish I could put no stars on their rating.

Danny was very helpful and pleasant to deal with, we were kept informed of all that was happening with our booking. The only disappointment was not being able to get our flights at the price quoted us on line.

Booked with them, paid the entire amount, and was told the flights were confirmed. Called them 2 days later for tickets, was told they were coming in a few days. Called them again 5 days later, was told they were coming. I email them, which is about 2 weeks after my payment, and they call me to say I can't get the flight on the return leg. The only offer for me to come back 2 days later, despite the fact they have had payment and 'confirmation' for 2 weeks. Maybe this is a one-off, but I'd personally avoid.

Save yourself a headache and please don’t book here!!! Bunch of rude stuff especially JAZZ with no manners whatsoever, no respect for the customers, professional liars until they get hold of your c/c and then your problem begins!! I was promised the best price on the market what wasn’t true and was refused to even consider talking about any discount as they manage to get my card details before but the scariest bit was that JAZZ tried to rip me off for another £150 on top, she increased each flight for £40 plus adding booking fee for 2 adults +10 month old baby = £45 (£15 each) and I was never told about this fee. This was a point when I start asking myself what did I get myself into? So I cancel the booking!! My card was charged for £280 without my permission!10 days later I still get bother by them asking me to pay the outstanding £2800 as the e ticket has been issued?!!?- honestly bunch of rude liars who are not real travel agents and they should be stopped from ripping people off!

This company should be banned from trading in the UK. I only got my problem solved after the intervention of the TTA and Virgin Atlantic. We (9 of us) booked flights with Traveloworld going from Glasgow to Orlando and back, departing Glasgow on 7/7/13. We paid in full but about around 2 weeks after booking we got a call from (name removed) telling us that they couldn't get us seats on that flight but could get us on the flight on the day before 6/7/13. I said that was no good because some of our party would have to work on the 6th. I called Virgin Atlantic who were brilliant, and they told me our names were booked on the 6th. from day one. I xalled and kicked up about it, was told repeatedly that a manager would call but never did. I/we only got paid back after as I said the intervention of the TTA and Virgin. I have not let it drop, I am constantly at the TTA to get them penalised. They shouldn't be allowed to treat the British public like that. Maybe thats the way business is accepted in India, Pakistan or elswhere in Asia. But not here. I've spoken with Virgin and told them of all the bad publicity and had hoped they would stop dealing with them.

I inquire about this website the staff get my details I ask for itinerary and staff ask for 100 pounds deposit but never said that deposit in non refundable. Now they took 100 pounds on my bank but I found a better website better deals but when I ask for refund they said deposit is non refundable. Gosh and they're flight is more expensive compare to other travel agency.

Never trust these agents, always double check with the airline! Have been overcharged by over £200, and thought they are offering cheap flights, but when checked with airline or even expedia, tickets were much cheaper. If anything happens, excuse is their 'software'. Do not fall into this trap!

I too have booked with them to go to Orlando in December. Paid most last month then the remaining amount 3 days ago. Was sent an email with my e- flight number which is supposed to be my tickets and still waiting on my car hire voucher even though I've emailed a couple of times for it so getting a but scared I've been dupped. When I paid the first payment I emailed the company 3 times asking for a receipt for our payment of £3500. Never got an email back. Just really hoping everything works out as we have paid a lot of money. Has anyone else had their tickets sent this way and used them without a problem???
