As I write this my daughter is still waiting in her car, parked on a double yellow line, waiting for the RAC to recover her car 24 hours after reporting her breakdown. They have promised to send a patrol and also promised to send a recovery vehicle on numerous occasions over the past 24 hours. The breakdown occured at approximately 6.00pm yesterday and she is still waiting - the breakdown contractor has now said he will be there in the next half hour - we will wait and see if he keeps his word.

The female manager at the RAC, who my daughter has spoken to on a number of occasions over the past 24 hours, does not seem to care.

If this is the best the RAC can offer they do not deserve anyones business
