I took out cover thinking it was a great deal - £75 including European cover. I was told it would cover me fully. Well I broke down a hundred miles from home on a Friday early evening. It turns out my cover only got me a maximum of 15 miles from where I broke down. What use is that? To take me home I would have had to pay around 300 pounds with ETA.
I was mis-sold this policy and left in awful trouble when I needed them most. Now they have the audacity to send me a renewal letter. Their customer service was rubbish as well. When I rang up explaining that I had not been told of the limited nature of the cover, the man just said, "it's your fault and you should have read the policy". Oh did I mention they want £122 this year.
I don't think so somehow.
My advice - be very clear about what you're getting in your policy so that you're not left stranded and desperate.

You shouldn't think you are 100% covered without reading the policy. As far as insurances go (any insurance) I never pay for a insurance unless I read their policy and I'm happy with it. I found their policy (ETA) not too lengthy and written in pretty plain English so was not too hard to read it entirely before purchasing insurance from them.
