The installed system has replaced a 25 year old boiler so far the new boiler is exactly what we require

The pleasure in having a new installation done over the summer is that, provided it stays dry, the whole process can be completed with doors & windows open and you'll end up with a brand new, state of the art gleaming box of clever tricks awaiting the onset of the cooler weather ahead, but for now quietly getting on with heating your water as you sluice off the dust post works. The biggest joy of the Grant Vortex BlueFlame Combi 21 is that it sits outside on a small slab of concrete, freeing up wall or floor space in the kitchen as well as offering instantaneous hot water meaning no more copper cylinder in the airing cupboard, no more hot pipes running under the floor making bedrooms stuffy, no more flue running up through the loft and out through the roof, no more loft tank or header tank to freeze or need re-washering and all water, both hot as well as cold, coming off the mains. Really rather hard to find fault though can't project ahead about the cold months, but with it's A rating in terms of energy efficiency, everything points towards happiness! We had endless attempts to cure the old boiler, installed in the utility room, of its various smells. Couldn't get rid of the fuel oil smell when it was operating. Finally decided to install an outside boiler- Grant Vortex Pro 15-21Kw. Since it's been very hot since we installed it and the solar thermal means we haven't even needed it for hot water, I can't say what it's like when it's running! So can't in all honesty give it 5 stars - yet. However I'm sure it'll all be fine and if it still smells, at least we won't have the smell in the house. Installation by CHG South West (we live near Dorchester) was excellent, I'd recommend them.

The old Danesmoor had started leaking so after looking at lots of options finally decided on Grant Votex Eco 21-26 as they had good Which reviews and are a local firm. The boiler itself was excellent value (actually less than the cost of a new casing for the old Worcester) but as it is condensing it needed a lined flue which was fairly expensive. It all seemed nicely made and was easy to install with pipework on the top which made connection straight forward and accessible. Its been running for a couple of weeks now and have forgotten its there which is what you need of a boiler. Excellent - very pleased with it. Our installer (PJW Heating Wootton Bassett) was also excellent.

Last Grant combi boiler eventually died and as we'd been happy with it for 14 years that we'd lived here, we opted for the same make. We upgraded the model and so far, it's been excellent. Fitted well into existing space. It's quiet on firing up and on testing, heated all the radiators with minimal bleeding required. New Sentinel to be fitted of course.

Pleased with efficiency and quietness of this boiler,95.5% efficient. The small compact size, creates more space compared to the previous model. The quality of the components and speed of installation were impressive.

Top quality external boiler, works great, quiet and not in the kitchen any more like the old noisy oil swallowing Worcester bosch.

Very pleased with our new boiler which seems so much quieter and more efficient that the previous one. I'm looking forward to a major reduction in oil usage in the future!

New installation. Seemed quite straitforward and completed quickly and efficiently. Working well so far. Quieter than expected in operation. Time will tell how much more efficient it is compared to old boiler. Good looking, if a little on the large side. Didn't like the fact that Grant ask for £299 for an extended 3 year warranty.

Only had it installed yesterday so I have no idea if it works well for me but I am confident.I already like the quietness when it's on. The flue is a lot better designed even though we had to go for a more expensive one.

Delighted with my new boiler and surprised with how quiet it runs

Boiler & fittings all in & working in just over 24 hours. we would recommend to family & friends. clean & have to listen really hard to hear it working.

Engineers came quickly to identify the problem and stop the leak from the boiler jacket. The old boiler was no longer compliant and had to be replaced. New Grant boiler was ordered and installed within six days. A further visit to check it was working and that householder was happy and to commission it was carried out. The engineers were a very helpful and efficient work team who represent the best of British work-ethic. Slight smell of spilled keroseneremains. This was due to an old valve not closing off the system properly when the pipe was re-routed.
