Mcvities digestives have been a wholesome but golden buttery comforting staple to have with a cup of tea, since childhood, iam 50yrs old and just opened a pack purchased from asda this morning, sat down with cup of tea ate 1,2,3 after first bite thought maybe made low grade ones just for asda ?? sainsburys bought some ....same dissapointing taste, reminds me of ones bought own brand for around 25p a pack, a very poor quality tastless biscuit , I will never buy mcvities again, i will try marks and spencers and waitrose digestives if as bad will have to find a new staple go to buiscuit, VERY DISSAPOINTED HOW ON EARTH DID YOU THINK WE WOULDNT NOTICE !! IF a consumer wants low fat they dont eat biscuits if vegans want biscuits they can make then or go to a wholefood store and by bland dry ones, but you will loose all you loyal customers because you are not putting us first. if you are trying to save money just put them up 5p a pack!!!!

I think just about every digestive lover echoes your views..I'd rather pay an extra 50p a pack than lose my favourite biscuit..If McVities (who have been taken over by a Turkish company) don't resurrect the old recipe, they deserve to go out of business..Heinz did the same with their soups, now they are bland & tasteless..
