This is a review of the service I have received from Wheelies over the last 3 weeks. My bike was stolen from my garage a month ago and as a result I had to claim via my house insurance. The claim was dealt with quickly by my insurance company and Wheelies vouchers were issued promptly. I searched the Wheelies website and found what I would class as my "Dream Bike". By choice i would not use this company but has it was a insurance claim I had no choice. This is a warranty bike as the original one (which had an issue with the front axle unscrewing, causing the wheel to come loose whilst riding, no one took it seriously) got damaged. I thought the Wheelies misery was over after two years, how wrong I was. I knew which bike and size I wanted but there was a four month wait. Ordered a bike with guaranteed 2-3 day delivery - then informed not in stock and would inform me 'in a few days' when they would be getting it in. Seems to me they have no stock -just order in when necessary and pretend to be able to deliver quickly. However I was told that’s my bike would delivered on Tuesday, and it has now been a week and I’m still waiting with no clear updates or information. “Delays Terrible Customer Service”

Appalling service, there is no “customer” in Wheelies. Bike scheduled to be delivered on 29th October (arranging to be home all day), 2 delivery days missed, finally delivered on 19th November. Asked for mud guards and bike stand to be fitted but wasn't even though they said they would. Multiple phone calls each taking over 30 minutes, often kept on hold for over 10 minutes or until you give up and hang up. No interest in proactively keeping you informed or solving issues. AXA were so helpful and sympathetic when I had my bike stolen . More than can be said for Wheelies! I found them quite rude and very unsympathetic . I felt as though they thought I was a fraud! And when I decided to take the cash settlement and buy my bike from Evans, where the customer service is brilliant, I was accused of taking the cash and not purchasing a new bike! Conveniently given vouchers for a bike in the sale saving them £130 off the price of the original price. A month later still no vouchers delivered. Finally arrived then the cycle is no longer available. Finally got the £130 owed and got the replacement bike. Luckily after two attempts they finally got my email address correct.
