It all started off so well, quick call following referal by my insurers, but it rapidly went downhill from there. Firstly, I was unable to get through by phone without a standard 15 minute wait listening to some dreary music. I had spoken to four different individuals on four separate occasions, information ranging from inconsistent to blatant lies with the general attitude being unhelpful bordering on rude. Good enough stock on bikes and locks, less so on lights. Guys on the phone were mixed, some helpful some indifferent. Getting through on the telephone was a nightmare and they once called back on a schedule time as promised. Though the offered models were of the appropriate quality. The biggest downfall here is the delivery system and the fact that you have to wait in at home from 9-6!! And there is no option for a weekend service… Read Full Review

Poor systems, obviously running on a thin budget and absolutely no customer focus. I had to deal with Wheelies as directed by my insurance company. I had lost 2 bikes and a bunch of accessories. Very difficult to get through to. The “like for like” matches I was offered were not acceptable. Ended up spec-ing my entire order and had to provide on a spreadsheet for my own ease of reference. Had to deal direct via my insurance company, their choice not mine. Absolutely impossible to contact by telephone, but when contacted had to deal with five different individuals who had totally different ideas on what the insurance requirements were. Some contradictory, some lies and some downright rude. I really hope that nothing goes wrong with my new bike as I dread having to deal with Wheelies total incompetence again. Cannot fault the actual replacement bike in any way. However, I had great difficulty contacting Wheelies. Was on hold waiting for up to 20 minutes and then not called back after selecting the option to leave a message in place of holding more than once. When you get through to someone however they are really knowledgeable and helpful. My advice is to be ready for their call and manage everything at that time. To start with the only positive, my replacement bike is brilliant! However getting to this point has been painful. My insurance is with M&S who transferred my case to Wheelies to sort out my replacement after my bike was stolen. I used my bike every single day to get to work so it was important for me to get a replacement quickly. Ugh. They were slow to respond at every point in the process -- replacing my stolen bike has taken at least 6 weeks now. I was told by the insurance company that Wheelies would call me to discuss the replacement bike -- Wheelies' initial contact was a text message asking me to call them. Classy.
