I had my Cube Acid (27.5) stolen from my garden. The initial uptake from Wheelies was very prompt, they rang later that morning. After that it all went down hill. In summary, they had to contact me multiple times (during my working day) and kept me waiting on the line 'while I just adjust that order' for so long. “Not Ride Ready”

Wheelies were knowledgable and helpful in sorting out my replacement bike. They assured me that the bike I chose would arrive "ride ready". When it turned up I made the reasoable adjustments to the handlebars but the headset was dangerously loose. In attempting to tighten it up the thread in the allen key sheared - so it cant be tightened or released. So my "ride ready" bike is unrideable. “Prompt, but poor website and selection & dodgy build...”

Had to use Wheelies/BRS because of my insurer and couldn't get the bike I wanted. Couldn't get the bike I wanted or a close replacement. Website is not easy to use/search. Build quality is a bit dodgy. One bike arrived damaged through the post and had a brake cable the wrong way round. The only components I bought were pedals, to save the faff of fitting, and these don't come fitted in any event. Grips and tape poorly fitted. “Bike frame and wheels”

The frame was on the website but took nearly 4 weeks to arrive, this was not mentioned. I was contacted on numerous occasions to confirm the date, which adds nothing, but then on the date it was supposed to be delivered no contact was made and I had to chase up. Naturally it was late. This relates to a swap for a bike. The one we originally ordered turned out to be to small for my daughter, so we ordered a replacement. This is rather straight forward, but there is a £35 swapping fee. The fee itself is quite considerable, so you better get it right the first or second time round. Though I can understand why the fee is levied, this is one disadvantage compared to buying the bike from a shop. I was using wheelies as they are contract suppliers for replacements in my insurance. Wheelies didn't have the type of bike I wanted and said as it was a replacement service rather than cash insurance I would just have to choose from their range but that I could sell the bike and buy the other one if I wanted. I order my replacement bike, a new Cube AMS 100 Carbon 29'', and received it in the following conditions: 1. The rear mech hanger dropout-bolt was missing, which meant that I could not take the wheel out and put it back in. I needed to ask someone for help to hold the rear mech in place while I put the wheel in.. appalling. 2. The wheelies mechanic had originally glued it in! We were referred by our insurance company. Before the excess claim was paid to them, communication was excellent After we paid the excess, all went dead and I was doing the chasing. I paid the excess in October 2015 and was advised a delivery date of a week from date of payment. Nothing happened and I had to chase again until I was advised in December that the bike was out of stock and expected delivery was April 2016. I have now received the bike. They started off really well, our new bikes were delivered fairly quickly. There was a delay because I wanted a folding bike and these are not so common. I was happy with that because it was less than a week and I knew it was unlikely to be in stock. The problems started when we had to set up the bikes. Wheelies are very good at outbound calls. Where they're not so good is: - telling you how much your claim is worth so that you can process it - stocking bikes that enable you to make a like-for-like replacement (no, we're not talking anything out of mainstream) - delivering to the right address - delivering on the day you're going to be at home (long discussion about delivering on a day that you're NOT going to be there and calling the courier to arrange a different delivery day. Having had my bike stolen I needed to have it replaced quickly as it was my main method of transport. After sorting out the claim with my insurance company I was contacted by wheelies to select a suitable replacement. I ended up paying some extra money in order to receive the bike I wanted. “Slow and faulty bicycle replacement process.”

We were given no choice. The company was the only option on our insurance. It took over a month to replace the goods and in the and all additional items (other than the bike itself) were different from the stolen ones. We are now returning one of them - a basket, which neither fits the bike nor it can placed on it due to lack of handlebar fixing (not included). Someone is not thinking there. I sent my bike off to Wheelies after and accident where my fork and wheel needed replacing. Getting the bike to Wheelies was easy, with them sending a large box by courier and organising a pick-up to suit me. My bike was received by Wheelies, and a quotation for the damage was made.
