“Octasmart mattress topper double”

Purchased the Octasmart mattress £129… Purchased the Octasmart mattress £129 double. Arrived let it lay for 12 hours, tried to look inside zip to see quality of mattress, zip wouldn't budge stuck on the cover. Assumably they put a cover on so you can take it off and wash it otherwise why have a zipped cover! Sent photos to DORMEO as requested, got fobbed off. Then rang today 14th to say again it's not right. Mabel told me, "the cover isn't meant to come off, if you take the cover off it invalidates the guarantee, the zip is meant to be like that because the covers not meant to come off". I asked, but you should be able to wash it surely, "no, you can spot clean it if it gets dirty"! I am not happy with the customer services I received today. I asked for a part refund due to the zip, and was told, "no we can't give a partial refund, it's meant to be like that". Very disappointed, I looked into swapping it for a better mattress but I couldn't afford the extra £135 to do it. DORMEO, you are not very understanding at all! Date of experience: 14 April 2024

“Worst company ever”

I bought a double mattress just over a year ago, ive recently seen that i have a very large dip on the side of the mattress its about 18 inches long 3 inches wide and it has a 2 inch dip.. i wrote to dormeo and i took all the photos they asked for, and because i have a slatted base, and it is 1mm over there asking, they have refused to help. Im heavily disabled, i struggle to get in and out of bed and now i have springs digging in to me. They refuse to help over 1mm. Wrong. Im taking this as far as i can.i wanted to know that this company is only interested in selling, once you have bought it they want nothing else to do with you...

“Don't trust this company ”

My 81 year old dad called to order a mattress and was talked into buying g topper, pillows, sheets , protectors the lot. When we tried to return it they wanted £39.99 PER ITEM to collect it all. After arguing with their helpline, I was told they'd accept one item back at half price £19.99. All items were sealed in original packaging kaging and unopened. I was advised a manager would call me back but I received no call. Terrible customer service.

I bought a toper online at the time it said 7 yo 10 day delivery in big letters ..7 days I thought I would call them to get a date called many times but just left in a queue eventually I got through to a human to be told it was going to be a month..I placed the order because I have family coming to stay this week..so now I've been out and bought similar at half the price ..I was tould it says on the Web site it could take a month and it does but it's small and easy to miss..don't think I will ever bother with domenio again iam now going to try and cancel the order that's if I can get through to a human on the phone

Do not buy anything from these conn artists Waited a month then only half my order came pillows ect but no topper delivered Dormeo showed little interest in sorting it out and said id have to wait another 28 days for another one so tried to cancel order they tried to charge me 40 pound to cancel a order i hadnt received lol wouldn't get of script when trying to sort it out wouldn't get a manager wouldn't take complaint wouldn't try and and find out were my order had disappeared too Joke of a company worst ive dealt with do yourself a favour snd go elsewere and hopefully theyll go into administration again and disaoear for good this time most crooked firm ive dealt with ill be taking this a lot further

Having purchased dormeo octosmart pillows before with no complaints when I replaced them I automatically went for the same but to my suprise the two pillows that came were not to the same standard,one looks as though it has been overfilled and when used gives you kneck ache and the other is virtually flat with now contour at all.I will definetly not be purchasing anything else from Dormeo not at their prices for goods that don't come up to scratch.Very disappointed with these products.

“Dissapointed”

I thought I would be able to return the octaspring topper free of charge but it only applies to an octaspring mattress. Cost me £40 to return. Very disappointed as the offer seemed very good but turned out not to be so good after all. I'm giving this info so that no one else finds themselves £40 out of pocket

I ordered a dormeo plus mattress. Was told would be delivered mid November. Call them and was told that there stock comes in on the 28th November. So I would probably receive my order mid December. Very bad communication and wouldn’t recommend anyone to order from them. I’ve asked for a refund. Been told it word take 10 working days. Manager was supposed to call me back but I didn’t get a call from him or her either. Very unprofessional. Would never order with them again. False information all the way.

“Poor product, warranty worse!”

Deserves no stars at all! Product poor and warranty worthless. Bought a Dormeo Octasmart+ mattress in Feb 2022. Bought it partly as I thought it was British made. Took a long time to arrive but when it did it looked half the depth shown in the slick advertising. Still I was willing to try the newer tech of foam springs etc. After a couple of months two noticable indents became apparent in the sleep areas. Whilst we both had reasonable sleep patterns we couldnt "come close"! Move on a further 12 months there was a feeling the mattress construction had disintegrated. My first contact with customer care received some attention but they no longer respond to my messages even though I have sent all the photos and information requested. Eventually I had to buy another mattress. I took that opportunity to have a look inside to establish what had failed and record my findings to be included in a future revealing youtube video. It is not British, its made in Romania! The whole core of the structure has delaminated so the "springs" all piled up together inside. Many of the springs had fallen apart, see the photos, thats what you find inside! If you want a mattress to last for more than a year buy elsewhere, this Octasmart+ product is simply rubbish and their warranty is useless. You will see others have had similar experiences so its not just me!

“Where is it?”

Ordered mattress topper om Sept 18th now Oct 27th and havent even received a tracking number. Paid via Paypal and payment has gone out. Delivery time was stated as 14 - 28 days. WHERE IS IT? Will cancel if not notified by Nov 1st.

“No delivery for 2 months ”

On the 26th August, I placed the order for Dormeo memory plus mattress and they prommised to deliver within 28 days. Then they informed me the delivery will be on the 24th October.I am sleeping on the floor for 5 weeks now. I have a severe back problem and it's getting worse. Do not ever order Dormeo. Yhis is a rogue company.

“Domero warranty not honoured ”

I purchased a the Dormeo Octasmart Mattress topper for almost £200 from Dunelm. I expected this to be a durable product, designed for comfort as it was advertised as coming with 8 years manufactures warranty for defects on the product. Only 2 years on the matters has mis shaped and deformed. It is bumpy and not fit for purpose anymore. I have tried to contact Dormeo as Dunelm only cover the first year and the manufacturers warranty is of course with Dormeo. I have been told that they can't do anything because it was purchased through a third party going against their 8 years manufactures warranty promise. I am very disappointed to have been misguided by Dormeo. The product is unusable and I am £200 out of pocket. Thank you for your response on 19/09. I don't have a Trust Pilot request. My order number is 4025309500. I have called your company on several occasions to be told that they have no record, when I did register the warranty online on the date of purchase

“Absolutely Never again, will I purchase Dormeo!!!”

This is my reviews starting with the first one, 7 months after purchase... Photos where taken 7 months after purchase. And the burst stitching after a year. Dormeo advertise, saying they give 15 years warranty on their mattresses. Don't be fooled!!! I contacted Dormeo.Uk. a few weeks ago, as this seller has never got back to me,,, the only way I was able to send a message was leaving a review... and they still never got in touch. Well!!! Shame on Dormeo! They sent an inspector out last week, to inspect my mattress, that's totally covered in bobbles, that's so uncomfortable to sleep on, as they feel so bad through the sheet. Plus the mattress stitching is coming away on the side. Well they said none off this is covered by warranty!!! So seeing the foam inside the mattress, isn't covered by warranty??? So why do they give 15 years warranty??? What does the actual warranty cover??? Plus the mattress was sold as a soft one, that was for bad arthritis. I purchased this mattress. As it said medium to soft. It's actually very firm. It was bought for severe arthritis pains, and it hasn't helped at all. It's like lying on a board. Has actually made pains worse. I'm so so disappointed, with this sale. Wish I had have complained after a couple off weeks. But my Mum was dying, she passed away 6 weeks, after I purchased it. So this review was the least off my worries. . But I'd like to help other people who are looking a comfortable mattress. Definitely would not recommend this. It's definitely not comfortable to sleep on. Now! To sit on the edge off the bed, it feels very comfortable.. But it was bought to sleep on. Also, the mattress has had only 100 percent cotton sheets on it, and it's covered in bobbles. Just like the photo some one else posted. So I can't even sell it on. And can't afford a new one. Sorry for the bad review, as it's something I never do,,, but I just had to be honest. Especially as I emailed the seller few months ago. And got no reply. I'm on constant emails with Dormeo, but haven't had any satisfaction, so far. But I'll let you know if I do. Thought I'd review again after a few months, to say the mattress is still so uncomfortable, very very firm. Not soft at all. Tho it would probably be helpful for some one with a bad back that needs a firm one. But for an older woman, only 8 stone, I feel like I'm lying on a board. I honestly thought Dormeo would have got back to me. As I was told it was a soft mattress. Definitely not. Obviously no guarantee on quality or service. Like they say they give!!! Would not recommend if you have pains/arthritis... Still no reply from seller. An absolute disgrace. The whole side off the bed I sleep on is covered in bobbles , you can feel them right through the bed sheet. If I had the money I'd purchase a new mattress, but that's not an option. This definitely can't be a true dormeo mattress. First review, 7 months after purchase... Must be a replica... DO NOT PURCHASE. You will regret it!!!!!. Can't believe I never got contacted by the seller. The bobbles on the mattress are crazy. You can feel everyone off them. No offer off exchange or refund. Not even, I'm sorry!!! I'd have been happy with a mattress topper as an apology. Would not recommend the Dormeo Memory aloe Vera deluxe ???? in fact stay clear off Dormeo ????????

Orderd memory plus on 30/5/17 issued tracking no [ using yodel ] delivery services they say will be delivard on or by the 5/6/17 thats what yodal tracking states its now at preston depot been emailing dormeo my concerns of yodels reputation saked dormeo uk if they would tell yodel to return the item and send identical item out again using ups for instance can they do that paid with master card in full should be coverd uder section 75 if thing dont work out thanksHas anyone else had this experience?

Would a cover sheet diminish the beneficial effects of sleeping on Dormeo mattress? If the answer is yes, how could I clean the Dormeo mattress when necessary?

I have ordered a mattress from Dormeo and like several reviewers have been told it is out of stock and they will have some 'in a few weeks' when they will prioritise sending it. One reviewer asked for their money back but others did not say they asked for a refund, or if they ever got the mattress. I would like to know whether any of these complainants ever got the mattress and how long it took?
