Stansted airport is a joke, cant believe how it has changed so much from our last visit a year ago, can only put it down to having Jet2 and Emirates flying from there now. We arrived at 3.30am and it was absolutely packed our flight was at 6.20 to Corfu we couldn't find any seats in departures, it was a cattle market, the toilets were filthy, living in Essex this was convenient for us but we would rather travel the extra miles to Gatwick rather than go back there, it seems the airport cant cope with the extra tour operators and is in need of expansion, on our arrival back we had to wait 1hr and half for our baggage to arrive and the toilets in the baggage reclaim were disgusting. Will never go back to Stansted.

Couldn't agree more. The airport is filthy and it looks scruffy. The toilets were shocking and litter everywhere. Not a good first impression flying into the UK
