I arranged an airport transfer with hoppa as I didn’t want the free coach transfer offered with my holiday, so instead booked a private transfer in a ‘sedan’.

I gave the resort information complete with the hotel address for the quote but then was contacted to say my transfer would be £20 more than quoted and my only option was to re-book and I couldn’t be refunded as the resort partner felt the hotel was in a different resort, it wasn’t, and in any case I gave the full address initially. I had no option but to pay the higher price.

We arrive at the airport, no one was waiting for us and it was not clear where we needed to go. After wandering around with a tired 2 year old we found the resort partner, we were kept waiting a further 20 mins when finally our driver showed up, and led us to a coach... not a sedan... for three people.

I complained about this as it was not the vehicle we had booked, I was told as I was in the resort a response would be issued in 8 working days- by which time I was home.

The return journey was even worse- again hoppa sent a dirty old bus for just 3 people with no air conditioning instead of the car we had booked. It was no quicker than the coach provided by the holiday company and was extremely uncomfortable. I also feel it is disgusting to send large vehicles for small parties- do hoppa have no concern for the environment whatsoever?

I have tried to complain to no avail; hoppa respond only to say that they can basically send whatever vehicle they want regardless of what service you are paying for.
