I wonder why people writing negative reviews about driver regulation time. In UK you have to stick with the rules. A driver cannot drive more than the permitted hours. Its not only coachhire4u but all other companies follow the same rules. Our trip was great and we had a good time in England. Thanks coachhire4u for providing such a great service for our family trip. The driver was very friendly and helped us to find proper tourists spots.

booked a coach from coahhire4u.com for our new year eve trip.. the driver was on time and the coach was neat and clean. It was a smooth trip and we enjoyed the service from the company. the driver was very punctual and friendly. We had a great time at our new year eve party and every one were dropped off at their respective locations safely. Considering the cost it is cheap compared to other coach operator quotes. We got good value for money.

“I'd avoid this company”

Some aspects of the service were fine - booking and payment went smoothly, as did our return journey. But the outward trip was late, I think largely because the driver was using a different postcode to the one I'd given. It made the surprise party we were heading to more stressful! Post event customer service was also poor -no reply after two weeks and not a word of apology that I'd had to prompt them to reply to me.

OUR DRIVERS USE A COMPUTER GENERATED WORK DOCKET. THE INFORMATION ON THIS DOCKET IS THE SAME DATA CONFIRMED IN WRITING TO THE CLIENT TO CHECK. wE APPRECIATE THERE MAY BE HUMAN ERROR HENCE WHY WE CONFIRM BOOKING IN WRITING VIA EMAIL.

WE ALSO CALL CLIENTS A DAY OR SO BEFORE THE BOOKING TO ENSURE THE DATA IS CORRECT AND PROVIDE VEHICLE AND DRIVER DETAILS

“Avoid - Stranded”

Like the other reviewer. Our driver was up against a "working hours" battle. There is nothing built into this companies scheduling to allow for contingency. Having been on many dinners involving transportation there is always a risk of slight overrun. In this case the driver left at 12:22 for an agreed 12:15 pick-up. This left 14 guests stranded far from home and a £120 taxi bill. Had the driver spoken to any of the party this could have been avoided. Given the amount paid i would have thought an experienced driver would have looked to speak personally to the organiser. So not a great experience and will ensure to recommend other firms in future. The good news is that taxi was only slightly more than the tip we had collected for the driver.

Customers are advised at the time of booking, that drivers have to operate to ministry of transport regulations. There is no flexibility on safety. Customers are advised by the sales department and drivers on the day of hire that services must operate to schedule unless otherwise an extension has been booked by the customer and confirmed by the company. No other company would operate any differently. The company and driver have a legal responsibility and we have other customer to consider. We operate thousands of journeys a year and get very few complaints which is a testament to the service we deliver.

One of the biggest problems with private hire coach travel is customers believe they can delay collection times as they would with a taxis, without appreciating that Coach drivers have to abide by strict regulations. We follow the clients schedule. The schedule is not dictated to by the operator it is the clients schedule. it is not that drivers are being difficult. it is the fact that they have to by law keep to regulations. we advise customers at the time of booking that they have to keep to the schedule booked and if they wish to change their schedule this must be done in advance. AT 00:22 THE REMAINING PASSENGERS COULD NOT BE FOUND AND THE PASSENGERS ON BOARD COULD NOT ADVISE HOW LONG THE MISSING PASSENGERS WOULD BE. IN ADDITION THE PASSENGERS ON BOARD WISHED TO LEAVE. We also call all customers and check their booking details a day or two before travel. We understand that customers may not be aware of the strict regulations that govern coach hire and we do our best at the time of booking to explain.

“Good Service throught, but failed at last point.”

Coachhire4u / Premier Coach Hire - The driver did not have it on his paperwork that he was taking two directors home after the majority group drop off at the hotel. The price from the coach hire company was amended to reflect this add on, which we paid in full 'up front'. The driver was a nice guy and advised that he was close to running out of time on his Tac meter and had to be back for 01:30. The directors were left at the Hotel at 01:15 and had to ring round for taxis, which was very difficult that time of night. They also had to get cash out to pay for the taxi before they would take them. The cost for the taxi was an additional £76.00 Whilst we were pleased with the service back to the Hotel, my 2 directors were stressed out and frustrated at the end of what was a pleasant evening to that point, to make further arrangements to get home and pay again. We recommended to the coach hire company to remove redundant email addresses from their website and partners websites and chase up every booking confirmation authorisation, so that both parties have a complete trail. We are yet to be re-imbursed for the cost of the taxi and communication has gone cold. Now feeling disappointed.
