I recently made my first trip to the UK from the Seychelles and spent a while browsing for UK taxis to pick me from the Airport, before I stumbed upon www.catchacab.com. What I particularly liked about this website was that the quotes appeared to be in real-time (you have to wait for about a minute for all responses but its worth it). I ended up booking a cab from Heathrow to Hilton Hotel in Paddington for just 35 pounds and the driver arrived on time and greeting me inside the airport on arrival. I would have awarded 5 stars if I could pay by credit card as it was a hassle finding local currency initially, but overall I'm happy and will definitely use again.
