So i flew from Brisbane to London Heathrow at the beginning of April 2014. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!! I paid over $2000 for these flight. When checking in i was told i was going from Brisbane to Abu Dhabi and from Abu Dhabi to London. 3 hours or so into the flight im told im actually going from Brisbane to Singapore then from Singapore to Abu Dhabi Then from Abu Dhabi to London. My in flight entertainment didn't work. I raised this with a cabin crew member who couldn't care less - She told me should would be back after she re-booted the system. The system was re-booted and and she never came back it still didn't work. I spoke to another crew member who also couldn't care less and had no intention of helping me. So I took it upon myself to change seats. Having arrived at Singapore and re-boarded to go to Abu Dhabi i had the same seat number and of course the in-flight entertainment still was not working. I was told again the system would be re-booted this was done however it still didn't work. I was simply told there was nothing that could be done and was offered 2 magazines from first class for the rest of my 7+Hour flight.

When boarding my flight from Abu Dhabi to London i was sat between 5 babies who all screamed the whole way. At least my in flight entertainment worked this time however ever at the loudest volume I could still hear the screams and cries of the babies around me.

I arrived at London and waited over an hour whilst all the bags came out and mine never came. Apparently it was lost. They said they had no idea where it was and it could be anywhere. I left the airport with no clothes or toiletries however i was told that my bag should arrive on the next flight which was due around 6PM and it would be delivered the next day. I called every single day for 4days. To be told they still didn't no where my bag was. I then got a call finally saying my bag had arrived and would be delivered. I put in a claim for the delay of my bags hoping with the money i could buy some clothes or toiletries.

19 days later I've received an email saying all I'm entitled to is £71 for the delay of my bag - THAT IS ALL. an to top this when i received my bag every single thing that was valuable to be had been taken!!!! My Tiffany necklace, my Pandora bracelet with 8 charms, My Ipad Air, My Ipod, Vivienne Westwood watch were all coincidentally missing. I called up straight away 10 minutes after receiving my bag to be told to complete another claim form. This is did and today 13 days later I've been told i can not claim for anything and that i should of taken out travel insurance.

YES - i should of taken travel insurance. However i didn't as i paid a significant amount of money for this flight and i couldn't afford it- Ive heard only good things about this airline. The fact that my bag went missing for 6 days the airline should take responsibility for missing items. I have received the worst Customer service throughout the whole experience - Everyone i have spoken to couldn't give a monkeys!!! I'm now left having to replace the items myself.

Apparently according to the airline policies they do not replace valuable items however they still strung me alone and wasted my time making me complete forms and send invoices and flight tickets emails ect when all along they would have just said no!!!!! The airline have offered me no compensation other than £71!!!!! WOW - GREAT!!! THAT WILL HELP ME LOADS!!!

WORST AIRLINE EVER!!! WILL NEVER BE FLYING WITH THEM AGAIN!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
