Hotel Gala

The hotel was excellent and very clean but the entertainment left a lot to be desired very Boring. Food good but much the same.Breakfast best meal of the day.The building work was going on never affected us.as we never sat at the pool.

I have stayed at the Hotel Gala, Playa de las Americas twice now and I can not fault it at all. From the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel welcome and the service throughout our stay was first class. The hotel is extremely clean, good size rooms and a fantastic choice of food. The pool area was very clean with one of the pools heated all year round. The entertainment was very good and plenty for the children to do. The town is not so nice, dirty and noisy, but once inside the hotel you could be anywhere. Our rooms were very quiet.

Hotel Gala is a family run 4* hotel in Las Americas (its opposite Wigan pier) which is the only bad point I can see. I think that it is a good location. But it is opposite where the starco area is and there are a lot of Pr's around this area for the pubs. But they never bothered us as we stayed on the hotel side. It is on 6 floors, top 3 are for rooms which were spacious and very tastefully decorated. The pool is massive and has sunloungers with padded mattresses. Hired along with a towel for 1 euro a day. The food is a buffet but there is a lot of show cooking. I think that this is the best out of all the 4* hotels I have stayed in In Tenerife.
