Yamaha 311

I love my 311 I've had it for 3 years and nothing has been wrong with it since I bought it. I had it for a very cheap price through the local music service and it has got me through all my exams with destniction. Amazing Flute I think everyone should have one

I've owned one for 3 years now, and I've never had any problems with it. It was £800 when I bought it, but I think you can get it for £700 now. I wouldn't say the Yamaha 311 was really a beginners flute because of the cost, but it makes a nice sound for players who are slightly more advanced!

Yamaha 311 - I was bought this flute as a second instrument when I was 13. £800 is a little expensive for a beginner's instrument but now I'm glad I got this and not the Yamaha 211 basic flute. The solid silver head and lip plate feels more secure than the plated head of the sister 211. This instrument will take you to a Grade 8 exam so it's perfect for beginners as a second instrument or intermediate players who are perhaps not thinking about taking a Diploma or any exams after Grade 8.
