Great Evening At The Dumbarton Branch

5 of us visited the Dumbarton branch. We were hosted by Billie and staff who were excellent. The food was well prepared and very good. The service from all the staff was very friendly. We were all happy with the evening meal. Thank you all.

£3.95 For A Small Portion Of Fries

Frankie and Benny's Great Yarmouth this evening.......minuscule portion of chips for £3.95. Two pizzas which looked as if they had been cooked in the local crematorium. Manager with a very poor attitude. Is there any wonder that some of these chain restaurants end up struggling to survive when they rip customers off? An absolute disgrace. If you wish to attract customers, don't rip them off and ensure that the food you serve is up to the mark. In this branch they fail on all counts.

Braintree Fb Good But Eastbourne Fb Is Not Half As Good

Been to Braintree fb a few times happy days all was good. I visited Eastbourne fb and expected it to be around about the same. The food was cooked well not a chef problem but the quality of meat was very poor. We had chicken? Well was it honestly it was that bad and beef which was full of gristle a d fat. Will not return to this one. This restaurant is expensive. Cut and quality of meat should be so much better.

Insect In Food!!

My family visited this Frankie & Benny's restaurant on 27/July/16 to enjoy a birthday meal with our 2 young children aged 4 & 7. It wasn't busy & we were seated down but then we were left for over 20 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted to order drinks, whilst people that arrived after us were all being served before us!

A table near us had a child with them who had been given an activity pack so when we were eventually approached to order drinks I asked if our children could have one & we were told that we should've been give them when we were seated down but she would now get them for us.

Our drinks came & still no activity packs for the kids so I had to ask yet again! The drinks were stated on the menu as being Pepsi but they tasted like a cheap value range supermarket cola drink that was very watery & nothing like Pepsi at all! I would bet my life on it NOT being Pepsi as listed in their menu.

The food eventually arrived; fish fingers, chips & beans for the children; but my youngest child's beans were missing so when I enquired where they were the waiter said he'd go & find them. Me & my partner had pizza & chips. We noticed all the chips had bits of black debris on them same as the kids fish fingers & chips; it looked like the oils had not been changed for a very long time! Also the portion sizes were very poor; the pizza was £8.95 but was the thinnest pizza I've ever seen with not very much topping on at all & definitely not value for money, also for £3.95 you get about 10 small & skinny chips!

The worst was yet to come though: I cut a piece of pizza and as I was eating it I noticed underneath the pizza was a huge half cooked insect which looked like a big fly of some kind! I immediately told my family to stop eating at which point a waitress arrived with the missing beans. I showed her what we'd just found in our food & asked to see the manger, she came & was apologetic & I told her all the service issues we'd experienced, I refused to pay & she said she'd give us a 20% discount voucher if we were to return. I can definitely say we will never return to that restaurant or any other Frankie & Benny's restaurant ever again! My children were left very disappointed as was I! Absolutely terrible experience!!

Teesside Park - Needs Mucking Out

Visited, Sunday 21 February 2016, after the cinema about 6:30pm.Party of 3.

A chair had dried on milk shake or ice cream, we swapped for a clean one.

The table was disgusting, in need of some hot soapy water, not a quick spray. The photos on the wall had food splatters. They leave you a dirty saucer & just exchange the cup. Place needs a good mucking out. obviously hygiene's not first on their list.

Soggy fries, bacon bits with some sort of day glow yellow slop that tasted synthetic, shiny buns toasted to death, turning to crumbs on impact.

Miserable staff up to offering the bill. Mention problems, get a smile & a whimper. Will not return.

What A Over Price Joke Franky & Benny's Is

Went to local store entered building not many customers but waited 6 min to be seated sat and waited another 20 min for order to be taken finally order taken and waited a further 25 min for food that was cold and not very nice small portions so complained to waitres and was told you get what you pay for this is true but at £65.73 for two adults I would expect hot food and not to wait 45 min in a quarter full restaurant at that price I won't be going there again when there better service and price at other restaurants with staff that don't have a up them self attitude complete poor from start to end

Absolutely Awful Food And Massively Overpriced. Stirchley.

We went as a party of 8, 2 children, 6 adults. The restaurant itself is pleasant and we had no issue with the waitress but when the food arrived, good grief it was horrible. A burger went back - cold, cold onion rings, steak as tough as leather and waffles so hard our girls could not get a serrated knife through them. God knows what was wrong with them, they were like sugar coated bricks. We were horrified when we got the bill for £147.00. The garlic and onion bread was a single thin and flat piece of dough and cost us the grand sum of nearly a fiver! My granddaughter`s hotdog with a few chips was £8.99. We had to wait half an hour for our desserts which is unacceptable. It is disgraceful to capitalise on children, a horrible experience and one which I shall never repeat. Had I looked more carefully at the prices I would have left and I wish I had read a few reviews first because many of them are very poor. If Gordon Ramsey had walked in last night he would have shut the place down.

Love Frankie & Bennys

I don't often get to eat out but I love Frankie & Bennys. On the rare occasions I can go it's always a treat. Food is lovely and last time both the kids ate for free. They have great tasting cocktails and the service is friendly and quick. If you don't prebook you may have to wait for your table so best to phone in advance. I have no complaints and my family love it
