Trooping The Colour Coverage

I look forward to, and usually enjoy, the Trooping on B.B.C1.This year it was ruined for me by the non-stop chat by the commentator,Iknow whats going on and I would like to hear the proceedings and the military bands and enjoy the spectacle that we're so good at.I realise there are there are those who may need some things explained, perhaps sub-titles could be used for those who really need them, that way we would have a choice. This particular Trooping was visually very good but was spoilt by the chatter.

Great

I love BBC One. It has great quality TV shows and actors. Brilliant at Drama, Good Sport coverage, Great quiz shows but not so good with game shows.

I Hate The Licence Fee

rarely watch any BBC despite being forced to pay up £145 a year for them. They are politically biased and far too many (eg Jonathan Ross a few years back) get paid far too much for what they do.

Bbc Going For Gold

Even though we are only 4 Days in I would just like to say the coverage of the Olympics on the BBC is awesome. Great choice of events on the red button.

Fantastic.

Too much of Brucie too many old faces half of the people have no talent and ride on their famous parents backs.

Leaving The Political Criticism To One Side - The

Leaving the political criticism to one side - the Beeb has received its fair share of critics for not providing value for money. I disagree with this. The BBC, including the flagship BBC1, is envied the world over for its quality and independence. There is also something very professional about most of the presenters and the way they approach programmes compared to the other channels. ITV's tabloidy news channels, and its drama and comedy, are nowhere near the quality of the Beeb, for example. Also, in particular, think about the comedy stars and new talent that the Beeb produces. None of the other channels can compete really! Long live the Beeb.
