Totally Classic Album
This is a classic album everyone ought to have in their music collection. Brings back a lot of memories when I listen to it.

This Is Probably My Second Favourite U2 Album, Alt
This is probably my second favourite U2 album, although it does contain my all time best song. I think this album and possibly Rattle And Hum marked the end of one era for U2, but each song on the album has a depth and a quality we've come to expect from the boys from Dublin. Listen out for "running to a standstill" a beautifully subtle song about drug addiction.
I've been blessed to see them on their last three tours and I have to say I have never been disappointed. Unlike bands like the Rolling Stones who seem to dine out on past glories, U2 always seem to have the right blend of great new music and an amazing back catalogue. Heres to the next tour
Nice pun! Achtung Baby is another quality album. Was lucky enough to see them on the Elevation tour, have to say it was amazing to see such a massive band live. I don't know how anybody can say they don't like at least one U2 song, they're an institution!
Well Franky Baby it's Achtung Baby. I love every song on both but I think that as the Zoo TV tour comprises of mainly songs from Achtung Baby and that its without doubt the best concert I've ever seen it gives said album the edge (pardon the pun)
I love this album! Every song is brilliant. If this is your second favourite U2 album then what's your first?

Classic U2, The Band Have Come A Long Way Since Th
Classic U2, the band have come a long way since the early days of Joshua Tree. Their style may have changed with the times a little now, but this album is still unmistakably U2 at their very best.
It's really nice to go back and listen to the emotional "With Or Without You", the belting"Streets have No Name" (The Edge plays Arpeggio making the chords echo out brilliantly) and all the other fantastic tracks on this album. Some tracks are political ("Bullet The Blue Sky"), but "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" is about Bono's personal struggles.
Released in 1987, I still think this is one of the best albums ever written, and certainly U2's best. What do you think? Dig it out and have another listen, or go out and buy it. It is as good now to listen to as it was then, and a refreshing change from some of the bands today many of whom seem to sound very same-ish!!!
