Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake, George's Marvellous Medicine

Amazing book! I read it from cover to cover in just 2 days I could not put it down!

Yes the people who have written the reviews earlier are absolutely true

You know what right now i am finding new books for my son to be gifted.

But last to last time i gifted him this book. He was so happy after reading this book. I am glad i found this book after reading the reviews from here only! And I again I am looking for some other good reviews which would help me buy a great book for my son.

one of my favourite books - love reading it again and again. a very charming book!

I realy looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooved George's marvellous medicine. I would pay upto £20 for that book. Grandma is so mean. She likes to eat worms, snails, slugs and beetle bugs! George is so clever he is going to cure grandma so she does not eat worms, snails, slugs and beetle bugs. It's so good that I did not like nothing! Before I read the book I thought it was a bad book but after I read it it was a great book.I had to choose my two of my favorite or unfavorite books to give a review and one of the two was George's marvellous medicine.It was one of my favorite books.

I like this book because the grandma is a small witch. George is my favourite charecter in the whole book. It is really funny because her medicine has a lot of funny pills in it which makes he small as an ant.

George KRANTY, a small boy who lives on a farm with his mother, father and grandmother, is fed up of his Grandma's selfishness, grumpiness and her attitude towards him. George seeks to cure it by brewing a special medicine to cure her (made from every harmful product in the house, and several animal medicines from his father's shed), only to end up making his Grandma as tall as a house. While this does not improve her disposition, it does make her happier. George's father Mr. Killy Kranky (a farmer) and mother come home; when the father sees the giant hen (produced by the medicine given to the hen to prove to Grandma that the reason she is that huge is because of his medicine, although this attempt is failed), he is excited while the mother is first in shock and then starts to ignore the grandmother.

George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl is very nice.

I love George's Marvellous Medicine it's great, very interesting as well. It's great.

I like it when grandma starts growing and George making the medicine. All of it is brill i wouldn't live without a bit of laughter!

I feel that it is an amazing book by roald dahl. It was good because i have seen only 1 book about a grandmother and a child who hates the gandma

George's Marvellous Medicine is set in a farm house on a farm. In the farm they have hens, horses and sheep. The main characters are George. He is a normal 10 year old boy who gets badly treated. There is a Dad, Mum and horrid Gran. The Gran is horrible because she is nasty to George. George plans to make a slimy medicine to get his own back. He makes the medicine with things from the bathroom, kitchen, Mum's room and the garage.
