WHSmith Blue Halogen Desk Lamp

At just £5.99 the WHSmith blue desk lamp offers great value. It's a halogen lamp which unfortunately means it gets very hot! It can't be very eco-friendly either. The lamp itself offers very bright, white light ideal for working at the desk or computer. The design looks very good although there is a random metal rod sticking out of the lamp holder (apparently that's so you can adjust it without burning you fingers). Overall this is a great value lamp only to be avoided if you're worried about the environmental impact.
