AliPort Domestic Car Port

I used Aliport in the early 90s to install a wooden carport that survived all weathers until we extended our house earlier this year, in fact the car port was recycled through freecycle to a local resident who needed it to set up a new business. Having been so impressed with the previous product we have just had a new white aluminium car port installed from the same company. I cannot praise this company highly enough, from the visit to take measurements to the installation itself, which took 7 hrs approx, the staff were efficient, courteous and prompt. The car port was installed on new block paving so I was a little apprehensive, I need not have been, despite having to lift some of the paving to provide a concrete base for the supports you would not know the paving had been disturbed. The finished product looks amazing and compliments our new extension perfectly. Having experienced tradesman of all varieties in the last 18 months with our extension and house renovation, Aliport stand out in terms of product quality and customer service.

Terrible company, Came out measured up, showed me examples of their car ports, and told me all about their excellent customer service, then they took my deposit, and I heard nothing for weeks, after finally chasing them up, they gave me a install date of about 6 weeks.

Once they'd fitted the car port I was very happy for about the first month, then the roof panels started to fill up with water, it took about 4 phone calls and 4 emails to get them to come back out and 'sort this' during this time the engineer 'Alan' showed me several reasons why the car port had not been fitted correctly to start with, and he corrected these problems.

Then again after about 4 weeks the roof panels started to fill with water even after light showers, I now have 5 out of 7 panels with water inside, one of which is totally full and has gone yellow, the car port is not even a year old yet and cost me over £2000..

I've phoned, emailed and even written to them and I get no response.. please avoid this company! - I have given them 1 * because thats the minimum! I have been totally ripped off and lied to over and over again.
