Vauxhall Astra 1.8 Bertone

I HAD A ASTRA 1.8 COUPE BERTONE 2000 REG AND HAD IT FOR 12 MONTHS AND SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON IT, I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER BUY ONE AGAIN, I HAVE HAD ABOUT 8 VAUXHALL CARS AND THAY ARE NO GOOD AT ALL DONT BUY ONE , VAUXHALL CHEAP RUBBISH.

iv not long had this car ,but it seem preety solid.i just need to no is the electric screen on the dash meant to go off when you turn the lights on .

i had this car for 4 years as a replacement for my awful 1.6 renault megane coupe that i had. i have to say i wasnt that excited about the car when i first bought it cos i wanted a golf gti and thought the astra was a bit boring....but i was wrong its a stunning looking car (i reccomend changing the alloys tho as they are the only thing that lets it down) and its really quick for a 1.8 with 5th gear having loads of pull on the motorway. its comfy aswell providing you are driving no longer than 2hours at a time. i had the car for 4 years and i only spent about 200quid in the whole time on repairs. i just sold it to get a renaultsport 225 megane and if its half as good as the astra was then i will be a very happy man!

Iv had the Vauxhall Astra car for two years and it was the best car buy iv made. There is plenty of space in the back for two and the boot is alot bigger then it looks. Good performance for a 1.8, good mpg 45 on the motorway and not that bad round town. The trip computer does its job well but tempting to see how low you can get the mpg. The servicing and parts are priced well as long as your dont go to Vauxhall.
