A Compelling Love Story, Showing The Bonds Between Family.
Alice Sebold's debut novel is a strong, powerful story which shows how grief tears us apart but can also bring us closer. we, as the reader, follow Susie Salmon a young girl murdered by her neighbor. throughout the book we see how her death plays a toll on the lives of her family and friends; some of the family members - such as Susie's mother and father - experience very deep grief throughout the book and their emotions break apart their once loving marriage. Over the course of action, which spans over years, Susie watches how her family grows and how their lives go by without her physical presence however, her presence as a ghost still haunts them and lifts their spirits once in a while. Over all, this book was an incredible read, with moments of passion and thriller it makes you compel yourself to just read on!

A Very Interesting Book, Told From A Very Unusual
A very interesting book, told from a very unusual point of view. It's clever, and very different. Leaves you feeling satisfied but it's unsettling, in that it's a harrowing and emotive subject and doesn't have the typical fairy tale happy ending which serves to make it only more real.

The Lovely Bones Is One Of The Few Books To Have T
The lovely Bones is one of the few books to have truly moved me, it's a book that I return to again and again, a book of hope after devastation, the hope is there that we are all watched over and will be reunited with our loved ones.

The Lovely Bones Is A Beautifully Written, Inspiri
The Lovely Bones is a beautifully written, inspiring book which will stay with you long after you've read the last page.
The Lovely Bones is a story, told from a murdered 14-year-old girl who is now in heaven. As she watches her family back on Earth to see how they deal with her death and as the years go by how they grow and the experiences they go through. Also how she adjusts to being gone and living in her own heaven.
Despite its rather dark context of opening with a murder, The Lovely Bones is far from being a dark and sinister book; it's a story of grief through hope. Beautifully written and inspirational, it's a great, could-be-read-in-one-sitting book. Gripping and yet lightly graceful.

The Lovely Bones Is The Story Of A Girl Lost In He
The Lovely Bones is the story of a girl lost in her own heaven and struggling to find herself. I thought this book was fantastic. I dont think that I have ever finished a novel in the short time that I finished The Lovely Bones in. I found this book not only beautifully written but also beautifully moving. I believe that the emotions that Sebold manages to illustrate can be related to by many. Whenever I think of Susie's story or her family's story I can hardly believe that such a series of beautiful messes could be brought onto one single family. This story is full of both blessings and tragedies and I would very highly recommend it to anyone who loves to read.

The Lovely Bones Is An Interesting Book About A Gi
The Lovely Bones is an interesting book about a girl coming of age even though she is dead. Susie (the narrator) states on the first page of the book "I was fourteen when I was murdered on December 6, 1973." As she watches her family and friends from her heaven she learns the true meanings of relationships and trust. The book was written very well in the first two-thirds of it. Yet, towards the end of the book, Sebold starts writing superficial and fantasy events. This makes the realism of the book start to fade. Other than that the beginning of the book makes up for it.
"Yet, towards the end of the book, Sebold starts writing superficial and fantasy events."...............
Well, that figures!!

Alice Sebold's, The Lovely Bones, Is A Great And V
Alice Sebold's, The Lovely Bones, is a great and very entertaining novel. It's part mystery and part ghost story. I love how Sebold made it feel like you were in heaven with her, but at the same time living with her on Earth. I felt what Susie felt. She has a hard time accepting the fact that she's really dead. I think the author did a great job making a distirbing subject such a great novel.

Following The Murder Of Susie Salmon, We Watch Her
Following the murder of Susie Salmon, we watch her family cope with their grief and loss. However Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones is no ordinary crime novel, we follow Susie's family over the years through her eyes as she views them from her heaven. The novel draws you into the characters' world and you feel yourself become part of the family so feeling their loss and frustration as the murderer evades capture. I found this book to be very atmospheric and emotional. I think this book haunts you for a long time and although very different it's atmosphere reminded me of the classic Harper Lee novel "To Kill a Mockingbird".
