LA TORRETTA - My husband & I from New Zealand stayed here 3 nights as our base for visiting Rome. We had our own car & was able to leave it at near by train station & enjoyed easy train trip into Rome so it took all the stress away of driving to Rome. We were recommended La Torretta through slow travel as a base to Visit Rome over 2 days. It was a highlight of our trip, what a special place to stay & lovely hosts. The views from our bedroom window took our breath away as did the terraced area off the breakfast room. We would highly recommend La Torretta, it gives you a real taste of italian life. Even the walk to the accommodation with our bags was worth it & and an expereince all of it's own.
