The administrators and sales people are the rudist ever. People in the Oporto club have almost drowned,and there is feces in the steam room and the pool at times. Yes, real feces! This happens, because of the lack of supervision in the spa and pool áreas. Some of the instructors have harrasssed clientes myself included in Suggestive ways, and used young members for sexual favors. Many of the people who work in this club are quite disgusting. The Guia club is better, but still has many problems. The classes are overcrowded, and one day I almost got kicked in the face during a Body Balance class as a result. When I complained, nobody really gave a damn! I could go on and on about the very bad conditions in the clubs, but I think you get the idea. Unfortunately, the clubs in Oporto are generally horrible, so there are very little in the way of decent club choices. I was pushed into the Guia membership by one of the sales staff. She knew I was sick with a staff infection, but she kept telling me that I would pay much more if I didn't join the day she called. I would have liked to have had the chance to try the gym out to see how long it would take me to get there. It takes me 45 minutes at least one way. Once my membership is finished, I will never return to any of the Virgin Active Clubs. I have finally learned my lesson. If I have to move to a diferente country to have a better choice of clubs I will, because my health is very importante to me.
