Very Absorbing Book
I love the Twilight trilogy. Thrilling books with a great story. The second book in the series is an improvement on the first in my opinion, with a more indepth look at the characters and their lives. Loved it.

I Felt Like I Was Trapped In One Of Those Terrify
I felt like i was trapped in one of those terrifying nightmares, the one where you have to run, run till your lungs burst, but you can't make your body move fast enough. My legs seemed to move slower and slower as i fought my way through the callous crowd, but the hands on the huge clock tower didn't slow. With relentless, uncaring force they turned inexorably toward the end-the end of everything.
This beginning paragraph of 'New Moon' is very cleverly written by Stephenie Meyer. It draws you in and makes you wonder what is going to happen. New Moon is an excellent follow on from Twilight, taking you deeper into the magnificent world of vampires, bad luck and other mythical creatures.
After a disaster at a birthday party with the cullens, Bella is left struggling to face facts. Her new found friend jacob is the one to pull her through. But what happens when vampires re-enter her life, leaving bella with a descision to make, and fast.
Stephenie Meyer, very cleverly has the abilty to make a story gripping and emotional like that. Very few authors have the skills to make you cry. She sticks to basics when describing the characters, letting us work out more about them from subtle details following on in the book.
Bella an 18 year old girl, who move to forks to live with her dad (twilight) struggles to cope with the emotional battle she has been left in. Found in a cowering heap in the woods, she has never been the same since. Jacob a family friend from La push is the one to stick there with her and help pull her through the mess. Charlie, bella's dad, see's the improvement and when the cullen's return he isn't very happy.
However the story seems to be getting a little too far fetched. Although it fits in with the storyline of the next two books (eclipse and breaking dawn) , it can start to confuse you a bit. The vampires who don't eat meat, understandable, a pack of wolves that suddenly appear, a little too far.
Overall the story is written well is exciting. The type of exciting that gets you gripping on to your seats. I would highly recommend this and i give it 9/10

The Second Book Of The Twilight Series Is More Pas
The second book of the Twilight series is more passionate and more ferocious than before, we learn much more about the characters and the tension behind everything is felt greatly. The prose is so exquisite and real that we can feel it happening to us, as in the first book the second captures us until we finish it, unable to put it down. The story in the second prose is a lot more raw as we see relationships evolving and getting stronger as characters cling on to each other for protection. The reactions of the characters are also a lot more believable and a lot more focused, I believe Stephanie Meyer has done a fantastic job with this book.
This second book revolves around relationships and how easy you can break or they can break while also be made. It tells the story of how The Cullens move away to protect the humans, but in this not only destroys the relationship of Bella and Edward but makes the new connection of Bella and Jacob. I suppose it's a little life lesson that every cloud has a silver lining. Edward is all but forgotten as Bella enters dangerous activities to try and revive his voice. Out of the blue Alice (Edwards 'sister') shows up and explains what she had saw and how things might turn out if her and Bella didn't come up with some sort of plan. In the end all is well but several relationships are broken again as old ones are made new.
If you enjoyed Twilight you will adore New Moon as it explores new material in the sense of the real world.

In Forks, Washington, After Having Recovered
In Forks, Washington, after having recovered from a vampire assault (see TWILIGHT), Isabella'Bella'Swan celebrates her eighteenth birthday with her boyfriend and rescuer Edward Cullen and his family of vampires that are'vegans ' ; never drinking human blood. However when Bella cuts her arm, Edward and his kin struggle to control their desire as the trickling red liquid is like catnip to them. They do not harm her, but he realizes they can never be together and ends their relationship breaking her heart.
Bella is depressed until she meets Ford High School sophomore Jacob, a sophomore from her school who belongs to a motorcycle pack. She begins to come out of her funk though she misses Edward. However, she soon learns what the pack truly is and what Jacob will become; a natural enemy of Edward; not just because they like the same girl.
The second Bella tale is a terrific paranormal young adult thriller as the heroine is sort of like Marshall Teller of Eerie, Indiana landing in one bizarre situation after another. This time the vampires show up towards the end of the tale as Bella learns there is a lot more species under the sun (make that the moon) than humans. Although Jacob behaves towards Bella identically the same as did Edward in TWILIGHT even considering the first person filtering of the heroine in peril, fans will enjoy watching what happens on the NEW MOON on the Olympic Peninsular.
