Stephenie Meyer, Twilight

I had a long drive ahead of me and i took this audio book from my girlfriend. It was a great time killer and very entertaining. Like the book better than the movie, as is most cases. I can see why the kids go bonkers for it.

Love these books - they are fantastic for all ages. Both my 13year old daughter and I love them and she has read them several times over.

The films are great also - and stay close enough to the book to be accurate without being too long winded.

Thoroughly enjoy and recommend to all ladies out there.

i think it was really good book and it is a bit scary but not too scary and its amazing book.

I found Twilight a slow book to read. it took me quite a while to get through the book but it is still a nice book to read. I did find it a bit boring in places but it's not the worst book out of the 4!

I believe this is an amazing book. The way the author presents her ideas makes me want to read many more of her books. She is so talented. When i first saw the book it was the day after it came out. i went out and bought it. i thought it was going to be the dumbest book i ever read but i was so wrong. as the old saying goes, "you cant judge a book by its cover" its true i was wrong about this book. it is now one of my favorite books and i would recommend it to many of my friends and family. it isnt as violent as many people have said it is.

Worst books I ever had to endure, there a lack of plot, characters as flat as they can be, twisting Shakespeares', Austens'and Brontes' great stories into riddiculoust shapes and shades.

If that I novels than I must be Spiderwomen.

There so poor language and vocabulary that I am really astonished that they are written by a navite english speaker.

This works could be valuable only after editing and rewritting in a short story form, they can't be called novels. both main characters are really annoying.

And I am a woma but that doesn't mean that I will worship some rubbish.

Way before the blockbuster movies came out my sister and best friend recommended a book called Twilight. A fan of the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and big young adult fiction reader, they thought I'd really like the story of a shy girl sent to live with her dad in a small town who accidentally falls in love with the local vampire. I gobbled this book up the way Edward desperately wants to sink his teeth into Bella. The story is simple but so enjoyable. Bella is a girl I can easily relate to and who doesn't want their own perfect Edward? Stephenie Meyer's idea isn't that original but the way she tells the story, through Bella's eyes, makes for a really great love story with an interesting twist. Meyer's perfectly sets the scene, with her super descriptive style. Thank god this is a series because I couldn't get enough!

This book is, let's face it, for women. However, aside from that, and hence the flowery writing and obsessive love story, it was a good read (please, ye who read this, do not be offended by what I have just said. I am not referring to all women as being romantic writers).

The book showed a flowing development in the relationship between the two main characters, and, although the plot isn't particularly strong, it really made you feel for them, for Bella, for Edward. The conflicting opinions between vampires, humans and werewolves (as shown in more depth in the later books) is really intriguing, and I would reccomend this book to any teenager.

Conclusively, a compelling and heart tearing read.

I didn't think a book would ever be able to effect me as much as Stephenie Meyer's Twilight the first book had, it was Consuming, totally Heart Warming, Exciting and I couldn't put it down - Then 'New Moon' came along............. WOW! Stephanie Meyer has such an amazing gift for describing the love between Bella and Edward that you actually FEEL it yourself and for the time your reading, your transported to the fantasy world of 'Forks' - you are 'Bella' you actually feel the pain of separation from Edward, and I believe it would be hard not to fall in love with Edward yourself!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTLY LIFE CHANGING!!!!!

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is just a truely amazing book
