Ivy

Ivy is horrible stuff. I used to love the look of it on old houses, but having had it on my own house, all I soon was interested in was HOW TO KILL IVY!So we tried all sorts; removing it, poisoning it etc. But eventually the way to kill most effectively I found was to remove all visible traces; what a horrible job! Make sure you cut it off at the roots and leave it to die for a few days-then remove it before its completely dead. Then go down to the roots with an ivy killer and finally keep a close eye on it returning and act quick when that happens.
