I think the University of Amsterdam is a great school and the culture of the Netherlands is very nice. The city is also unbeliavably beautiful.

I had a very pleasant experience studying here. Dutch universities in general tend not to have a campus but rather spread throughout the city. This suited me quite well. Amsterdam is a marvelous city, with a rich history which, like the other reviewer mentioned, stretches far past the sex and drugs part. Academically this university was very good. I participated in some of the best seminars whilst doing my MA here and some of the research projects are very interesting, if not extremely informative and contributing to a wide range of academic and social areas of interest.

The University of Amsterdam is a great place to do your studies. It's in the beautiful Amsterdam and it has everything our lovely country offers. I study here 6 years ago now and found a job very soon and I still lived in Amsterdam now.
