We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Green Lobster, and the service offered by Prague Discount Hotels. The free transfer was excellent with a great English speaking (Canadian actually) driver who was very informative about Prague.

The hotel was just perfect. It was a trip for our 10th wedding anniversary and the room on the top floor overlooking the street was fantastic. The atmosphere of the room with its wonderful beamed ceilings, huge bed and little upstairs area above the main room was more than we could have hoped for, and the views from the window over to the castle and down the street were great. The cleanliness and helpfulness in the hotel were great, and I would thoroughly recommend both the hotels and the PragueDiscountHotels to anyone who is going to visit Prague.

The Green Lobster Hotel is the most incorrectly advertised hotel that I have had the misfortune to book in my life. We booked a double room for ourselves and our 18 month old baby. Expecting to be shown to a room similar to the ones on your and the hotels website, we were shown to a very small room with a double bed squeezed in and a shower, no bath just a shower. Even though we advised the hotel that we had a toddler with us and that a bath is essential. We were treated by the hotel with total indifference, and when complaining about the hotel, we were told that they have quite a few comments of a similar nature. Finally after over an hours complaining, we were transferred to Hotel Tyl, which was acceptable, so much that we are staying at it again in August.I can't complain about the service of praguediscounthotels.com company, because they booked the Hotel, offered free taxi-service, even they transferred us to Hotel Tyl

We had a wonderful stay in Prague. We enjoyed our time in the 'Green Lobster' Hotel. The room was excellent and well furnished, the breakfast was superb and well presented and I made a point of thanking the lady who prepared the breakfast. Its a lovely hotel, the staff are attentive and courteous. We would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel to anyone. We booked the Green Lobster Hotel with company praguediscounthotels.com. And free transportation from airport to the Hotel helped us to safe time and money. Also the pre-booked taxi, from and to the airport was punctual and convenient.Prague is a wonderful city and we look forward to returning again sometime.

The Green Lobster Hotel in the old part of the Prague has two sites and we were put in the new site which was still being furbished. The room was ok but not great for the price, considering it was 4 star. We requested a double bed and a bath, both of which were confirmed. The room had neither and the shower was terrible. The shower head kept falling off. There was a DVD player in the room but the hotel had no DVDs to rent out. TV channels were all in foreign languages apart from a music channel and the news. The hotel did offer a discount but it was hard work getting there. Beautiful city with wonderful architecture. If only London could have retained its traditional character. Excellent transport system, trams are running all the time. Charles Bridge is a must see and for an intimate romantic dinner there is a French restaurant beneath the bridge.

I would still recommend a visit to Prague just for the scenery and glorious buildings, but I would never re-visit. I think the popularity of Prague has seen an increase in prices and an arrogance towards tourists. Locals can come across complacent and just want your cash without thinking about the quality of service they are offering. Top tip, take more cash than you think you need!
