Where do i even begin?!?!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!

This hotel is absolutely APPALLING with regards to the hotel itself and its staff.

So we arrived at the hotel and was shown up to a FREEZING dirty room with the window wide open. We decided to make the best of the situation and starting to unpack and put the heating on. From here on things went from bad to worse.

NO HEATING. How a hotel can charge for a service and not provide heating (which is a requirement by Law)!! I do not know. We were told by the only member of staff the boiler was 'broken' and nothing could be done as apparently the Owners/ were away and were non contactable. Absolutely unacceptable. So we asked for extra duvets and blankets and after waiting over half an hour we were insultingly given a large 'Arsenal' towel as this was the only thing they had.

We had no mirror. Apart from a tiny slit above the sink which we couldn't even see due to the broken switch light above and no bedside lamps. And then to top it all off I visited the shared bathroom to discover the lock was broken off and with the toilet being a good walk away from the door I felt rather uncomfortable knowing at any second a stranger from the many other rooms could just walk in!

On departure, we asked for a partial refund which was refused due to nobody taking responsibility for the place. So the next day I send a complaint via email to be ignored. Now here's the best bit. Sit tight!

I ring them today to explain how unhappy and dissatisfied I am and how they have failed to deal with my written complaint only to be abused and threatened by the manager! I kindly asked if a partial refund could be considered and that I hadn't yet written a review as I wanted to give a fair amount of time for them to respond and act according. They responded I am '******* blackmailing' and 'commiting a criminal offence'. When i stated that it wasn't blackmail he responded I was a "******* Idiot" and slammed the phone down.

So there we have it.
