Agios Nikolaos, Iberostar Mirabello Beach Hotel

We will be arriving at the Mirabello Hotel & Spa for our third holiday there, in Sept 2018.

The hotel is clean and consists of the main hotel building, housing the restaurants one of the pools and two beach areas with bars around the complex. Across the road are the ‘bungalow rooms, the games room, Spa and pool with Dolpin Bar.

Tips.

If you want to upgrade you’re room, email or call the hotel directly, we take our package deal then call the hotel and upgrade, it cost us £400 less to do this - yes £400.

Ensure that if you are a male that you take long trousers with you, as shorts are not permitted in the restaurants during evening meals.

The Italian is good for lunch, as well as the main restaurant.

You can book a taxi to Aghios Nickolas via reception €6 each way.

The town and bars are lovely.

Spinalonga island is worth the visit however try and read athe aisland by Victoria Hslop beforehand. Only the hardened won’t cry!! I would make my own way there next time as an excursion can be expensive.

The Galley pub just a short walk from the hotel, towards town, is brilliant to watch sport and have a good drink and maybe a pizza - the meals are really good also, if you want a night off from the hotel. A couple  own this restaurant and bar: she is English and he is Greek.

The dolpin bar is by the pool across the road - this is also a nice bar to visit.

All the staff are amazing and go out of their way to ensure you’re holiday is happy, nothing is too much trouble. The two restaurant managers are fab and their staff are so hardworking and really lovely.

Go and make your own memories, remember if you have an issue the staff are brilliant however you also have a member of your tour operator there some days/evenings.
