Nothing Will Change If You Watch It, So You Can Spare That Time.

I remember I never had big expectations on this movie, nor I was seriously planing on watching it, but a friend of mine recomended me and so I gave it a chance. What a fool... Another easy-fast-going thriller made in Holliwood, with the always beautiful Angelina, but completely cheap and unfinished this time. The story never seems real or serious at all, and despite I'm also a big fan of action and Angelina's style, she looked a way to skinny and sick to me in this film, in a way you can't really believe the fighting and action scenes. It's far away from Lara Croft or Ms. Smith. The sotry itself, reminds me a little bit to Alias, the J.J. Abrams serie, but a want-but-can't version of it. I don't give 1 star because at least I watched till the end, and for some people might be even a sunday afternoon entretaintment.

Watchable, But No Classic

I didnt know much about this film as I flicked through the Sky Movie planner looking for something to watch.

It's a kind of Mission Impossible meets James Bond feel to it with a bit of Laura Croft thrown in for good measure.

It was quite watchable but a few 'hollywood' bits make you cringe a little - eg there was a scene where Angelina Jolies character was chasing some people - they jumped into an elevator, so she proceeded to chase them by jumping in about 30 foot leaps down the inside of the elevator shaft. Each leap resulted in her effortlessly grabbing hold of the elevator shaft without a single scratch or injury to her.

In reality a single leap like this would have resulted in her whacking her head, being knocked unconscious and ending up in a pool of blood and mess at the bottom of the elevator shaft, but I guess that's a slightly more boring conclusion!

So, completely unrealistic scenes like this (and there are others) aside, the film is pretty good. Its got a couple of twists that you wont necessarily see coming which I always like, a few good action scenes and the characters are reasonable.

Certainly worth a watch if you're up for a competent action film, but it wont be one you'll put down in your top 5 action films of all time.
