My insurance was automatically renewed with B&B. my bank details hadn't changed and they couldn't take the payment. I complained and left B&B. ended up paying £49 for 6 days home insurance. There terms and conditions are just there to take your money

I was insured with B & B and never made a claim. When I changed to another insurer at tghe end of my annual contract earlier this year they still charged me for a month's insuance, although I rang to cancel, and also wrote to them. I received no response, and I have now been chased by debt collectors. Don't go near them.

After looking on Money super Market , I called Bradford and Bingley Car Insurance to do my insurance. After doing my insurance, I started getting call from all over the company about my no claim ext- Which I provided them. Later , I called to check whether they receive it or not. A very rude lady picked up the call and asked for more money to be paid and also wanted to increase my premium. I straight away cxld my insurance & as she informed me, I send their Insurance document back. After 4 days ,I called to check on my refund, another frustrated man picked up the call & told me that you insurance is never cxld & asked me to fax & sign the insurance paper(Which was never explain before- when I cxld it). After 16 days & 10 calls I got my money back & to top it up they just returned GBP 38.00 & total amount paid was 138.00.

I gave Bradford & Bingley Car Insurance a try after it came up very competitive on "Compare the Market.com" - what a complete waste of space this company is! I have driven for 32 years (I`m now 55yrs old) without an accident or claim. After the two week grace period had lapsed, they contacted me asking for proof of my 9 years NCB - fair enough, I contacted Saga who insured me for the last 2 years - then Liverpool Victoria, who gave me a letter proving another 9 years. FOR SOME NON UNDERSTANDABLE REASON, BRADFORD & BINGLEY WON`T ACCEPT THEM AND HAVE PUT MY POLICY UP BY WELL OVER £100 - WHICH MAKES THEM NO LONGER VERY COMPETITIVE! I said you can stick your insurance then, I was thinking that a brand High Street name like the Bradford & Bingley would be reputable - Boy was I wrong!! THE CHEEKY SODS SAID AS I WAS OUTSIDE THE GRACE PERIOD, I WOULD HAVE TO A £60 CANCELLATION FEE - AND THAT'S NOT ALL, I WENT ON THE INTERNET, PUT ALL MY DETAILS IN AGAIN WITH JUST 5 YEARS NCB AND IT CAME OUT £100 CHEAPER AGAIN... DON`T GO NEAR THEM! PS I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND SAGA AND LIVERPOOL VICTORIA !!!!!

Took out insurance for my son who was a provisional driver,it was a bit expensive but decided to take it out. A month after he passed his test and we informed them of this change as was asked of us. They told us they no longer could insure him and would have to cancel his policy. They also kept £1000.00 of his insurance premium as they had to cancel his policy, which does not seem fair as it was not us who cancelled. Please take care when insuring young drivers . It was underwritten by Sabre Insurance Company .
