I'm currently in the process of upgrading my desktop computer. One of the things i've been meaning to upgrade is the network adapter. Originally i was using the Netgear WPN111 which has given me no end of trouble, and has flown across the room many many times. The household has just upgraded our internet package from Sky's measly 10Mb wired package (which would unsurprisingly only give me about 1.5mbps) to Virgin Media's 30Mb fibre optic package. Even then my WPN111 would only recieve 5Mbps max! Upon receiving the item from CCL Computers (an online computer parts merchant) I was quick to try out this new card. I have basic networking knowledge and was aiming to buy something that was cheap and yet fast. I never heard of TP-Link before so I did a quick google and found out they were quite highly spoken of. Well goddamn, I wish i had brought this card sooner! It fitted in without problems (I had no doubts on this), and Windows 7 32Bit found it instantly! (Hooray no need for installing drivers!) I quickly went to SpeedTest dot net to try the new speed and now im receiving 24Mbps on average! Extremely happy! And I wont keep treading on it as its hidden away nicely inside my computer! The box contains: 1x TL-WN781ND PCI Express Adapter 1x Resource CD (Manuals/Drivers) 1x TP-Link Purchasing Guide 1x TP-Link Wireless Purchasing Guide 1x Quick Installation Guide 1x EU Declaration of Conformity
