Tried three of the 12 box selection, all underwhelming ,particularly the bland tasting Kora Sauvignon,The Tikoli Sauvignon ,just a little better, but little zest,or flavour.
The sunday bay pretty average ,searching hard for the subtle characteristic sauvigonoc flavour, certainly not worth the price i paid as an average for the case per bottle at£7.50p.
The bog standard £7.00 bottles of new zealand Sauvignon ,you can buy in high street supermarkets ,are of a higher quality to anything I have tried from the case so far.
I was expecting something different at an attractive discounted price, what I have experienced so far, i would rate at the £5 end of the market.
Particulaly irritating as i made my order over the phone ,and a very enthusiastic man at the call centre said what an excellent case i was buying especially the cloudy bay and the hunters sauvignon ,which i have yet to open, but I'm not holding my breath.
Interesting that of the 12 bottles only 2 are rated as higher quality, meaning that i have paid well over the odds for the other 10 bottles.
No tasting notes in the case so to compare the wine as drunk with the market pict ,you have to trawl through the catalogue of other offers .
