I had not been to visit the zoo for years. The buildings are old and some need refurbishment, but the animals were well cared for and interesting. My grandaughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and although the place was hilly she loved walking and running around. We went on the land train, ideal for me as i can't walk up hills. My grandaughter loved all the animals and her experience was good. I would suggest that some of the young members of staff need to interact with the public more. Two members of staff at the farm were not engaging with the public and were standing around - this does not look good. (suggest training) There was a handling area here and the lady in this area was very pleasant and informative. She interacted well with the public. We liked the restaurant - good food and lovely seating. Get rid of the old art deco buildings no longer used or refurbish - it looks a mess. Overall this visit was a good experience and we would certainly go again. Lots to see and do.
