They put the Icing on our cake!

I first encountered Le Papillon at the National Wedding show last year and was just mesmerized by this stunning cake. Then I was told that they never make a cake that looks better than it tastes. This seemed unbelievable at the time but never a truer word was spoken, for this is a cake that starts great and just gets better.
I chose the chocolate wrapped gateaux tower with 5 different flavours and a top tier. We had a tasting where we tried many different cake samples (big hearty slabs of cake that you get to take home and devour afterwards) and each cake tastes as good as the last. the only problem we found was choosing which delicious flavours to serve and which ones we had to leave behind. The real shock for me was when I sat down and worked it out I realized because they were a luxurious mini gateaux rather than the dry cake I had planned to make myself, there was no need at all to serve dessert with the dinner so it actually worked out cheaper for us to have our dream cake than i'd calculated for with so much more to show for it. Plus this way my guests had a choice which they would not have done had I served a dessert with the caterers.!
My guests absolutely fell in love with the cake as much as we had. Le Papillon make sure to use your colour scheme and your flowers to decorate the cake so it blends in perfectly. Our guests raved and raved about the cake. All day there had been little crowds of people forming around it, admiring it, there eager mouth's watering! I think perhaps most impressively of all, my Vegan guests couldn't get over how delicious it was. My Vegan Aunt said that normally she feels that Vegan alternatives have very little thought put into them but this cake was one of the most delicious things she had ever eaten.
