Amazing Promises - Terrible Results

We initially went to creare for SEO earlie this motnh and we were told that to carry out the SEO they needed to undertake some work on our site, split up into 2 areas. We paid the money for the first part (creating a new homepage) and the result we got back was so bad, I could have done better myself! When challenged onthis, they thought it was ok and it took a good while to get them to re-design the page. Following this we decided that if that was what they thought was acceptable then we would not be asking them to carry out our SEO, especially on the basis that we would be entered into a 12 month contract and their would be no guarantees that we would get any more traffic. They appear to be yet another company that promise the earth but then when they have your money they don't care.
I am also very sceptical about the vast majority of reviews on this site for creare as they have all been created far to close together. Just look over the past few days to see how many have been posted! Steer clear is my advice.
